Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Last night, the Big Guy made Chinese Noodles.
This is something that his father and he had created when he was a teenager and had some left over ham.
The only thing that was missing from their creation yesterday was peppers.
Back in the day, the Big Guy would have used green peppers.
Now, green peppers seems so expensive when you have them next to the red, orange and yellow peppers.
There is also liquid smoke.
Tonya is getting used to the smoke.
Of course, it wouldn't be something that the Big Guy would make, unless there was onions in it.
2 onions, to be sure.
Just like today, the Big Guy is supposed to make Salisbury Steak.
More onions.
Lordy.
He just can't seem to make anything without those onions.
If it isn't onions, it's garlic.
At one time, they used to purchase these little jars of minced garlic.
Now, it's these 1 litre bottles.
Even then, once it's opened, they use it up within a month or less.
Like, hello, make something that I can have once in a while.
