Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Tonya sent the Big Guy to go shopping yesterday.
He came home empty handed.
He forgot the new PIN for his debit card.
Today, he will be going to the bank to have the PIN reset.
He has had the same PIN since his first debit card that he got when he would have been 19 years old.
That is like remembering the phone number of his home when he would have been a teenager.
It was 463-3711
How he remembered it, well, the phone exchange was easy. In Dartmouth, there was on the 3 exchanges. 463, 466, and 469.
He also lived in building 37 on Lakefront Road.
He lived in the 2nd floor of that building.
So, 3711 was easy to remember.
There was one time, the Big Guy was in North Sydney and he needed to make a phone call.
Everyone here knew the exchange.
He didn't.
When he asked for the phone number, they only gave him the last 4.
He had to explain it to them, he didn't know the first 3.
Now, you have to add the area code.
But cell phones have pretty much taken away the memorization of phone numbers.
The Big Guy is lucky that he can remember his home phone number now.
