Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
A lot of people are thinking about the young men that would have gone off to war.
A lot of them, never come back.
But for their sacrifice, we enjoy liberty.
Some of the people that went to war, were too young to enlist. But they would lie about their age.
It is amazing the things that the government will ask young people to do for their country.
it is even more amazing that these same young people, will do it.
The Big Guy was one of those people.
But he was lucky.
He didn't fight in any war.
He is also color blind and couldn't really be in one of those front line places.
He would have been what is known as rear guard.
I am pretty lucky that I have the Big Guy at home all the time now.
I am glad he no longer goes away.
