Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
It is Summer now.
We have officially crossed that threshold.
The longest day of the year.
Funny how we say that, but there is still only 24 hours in the day. Even if it were the first day of Winter, then we say it's the shortest day of the year. But there is still 24 hours in that day too.
It's just too hard to say, the sun will be up and above the horizon, for the longest period of time, today.
We tend to measure a day, of sunlight.
Then it's night.
But we don't say, it's the longest night of the year when it's the first day of Winter.
The Big Guy was really looking forward to making Chicken Fricassee yesterday.
Tonya suggested they get A&K instead.
He really likes their chicken. So he was OK with it.
Then, she changed her mind and made this sausage and bean thing.
She added quite a bit of spices to it.
Perhaps if there wasn't so much spices, the Big Guy would have enjoyed it more.
He still wants his Chicken Fricassee. Or A&K. Either one would be fine.
First World problems. They are real.
