Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Every year, there is this thing that people from Cape Breton does.  It's called Big Garbage.

So, they will take their old stuff and put it to the curb.  

This is stuff that can no longer be used.  Stuff that is old.  Stuff that is too big to get to the garbage dump cause you don't have a truck.

Yesterday, they put out stuff that was picked by them last year.

Well, they didn't use it.  So, back to the curb for it to go to the dump.

So far, most of the stuff they put out, hasn't made it to the dump.

People have been stopping and picking up their stuff.

The Big Guy had a fridge that he has had since they lived in Cole Harbour.  They have lived here in Cape Breton coming on 15 years.  They lived in Cole Harbour for 3 years.

Easy math, the fridge is at least 18 years old.

It was due to go out for Big Garbage.  So far, it's at the top of the driveway and someone replied to the Big Guy's Kijiji ad that it is free, but they have to pick up.

The Cold Control has to be replaced in the fridge.  So don't think that he is throwing out a perfectly good fridge.

So, you never know what people want.

Tonya said there is still more stuff to go.  We will see if it can all be picked over before the garbage people can come by.
