Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
There is a small job that the Big Guy has got to do... and he isn't doing it.
What is that job? Well he painted those new chairs he built with Thompson's Water Seal. They have been drying in the garage for three days. He only needs to go to the garage, lift the door, remove the chairs and bring 2 chairs to the front deck and 2 chairs to the back deck.
But the weather has been the pits. It's not nice enough to really sit outside. Yesterday, the warmest it got, was +16. Today, it's only forecasted for +18. So not much better.
There is also this wider chair that is sitting in the back yard. It needs two boards replaced on the bottom, and two arm rests. They are all cut out and just sitting there, waiting for the Big Guy to fix that chair.
Oh and the task after that... paint the chair. I'm pretty sure he even has the paint in the basement.
I wonder what we could do to motivate him to get off his ass and go do those jobs?
Now... I'm sure if you were to ask him to make a beef stew. He would be right on that.
I'm pretty sure if the weather was nicer, he would get right on that job of moving those chairs around.
