Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Yesterday, Tonya was NOT enjoying the heat. Not saying that she would. I know the Big Guy didn't seem to mind it too much. He was even in the full sun, making some BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers.
Talking of hamburgers.
The Big Guy found that in the past, when he had home made hamburgers, or those less expensive hamburgers, they would mostly fall though the grill and down inside the BBQ where they would get all burnt up.
A few years back, Mylynne had a Baby Shower. Well the Big Guy had won these BBQ matts.
He put them in the cupboard and promptly forgot about them.
He has had many BBQ hamburgers fall apart.
But yesterday, Tonya got out the mats for him.
He flashed up the BBQ like you would normally do. He cleaned the grills. Like you would normally do.
Then he put the mats on the grill. It covered about 95% of the cooking surface. He put the hot dogs and hamburgers on the mats.
Well, he LOVED those mats. They cost about $2.00 at the Dollar Store. The hamburgers didn't fall though the grill. The hot dogs were cooked. The Big Guy was really impressed.
