10/Jul/20 scanning the road for other dogs

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Last night, we had a lot of thunder and lightening.  It was scary.  I barked a few times.  Tonya came downstairs and slept on the couch so that she would be near me.

I also grabbed one of the Big Guys slippers and currently, no one can find it.

Because of the low pressure cell that is off the coast, the Big Guy's knee that is full of arthritis, is off the charts with pain.  He is wincing every time he has to move.

The Big Guy wanted to get a coffee, but that meant he had to walk with the coffee in his hand.  Well, he had to walk slowly and carefully, not to spill the coffee.

We had a few devices around the house that says there was a power outage.  However, not all the devices were effected.  Like the Big Guys clock on his night stand.  Not effected.  The microwave, not effected.  The stove, yup, it's registers, Power Fail.  Thankfully you only need to reset the clock on the stove.

The garbage folks are here.

It's regular garbage day.  Now, next week, it will be blue bag week + regular garbage.

Today, Tonya is going to Sydney with her sister to go shopping.  The Big Guy has made a list of items that he wants Tonya to get.  One of them is to gas up the car.

Just wait till she sees how much gas he left in the car.  She is going to be upset with him.  But he hasn't been feeling all that well.  Normally he would gas up the car, but this time, he let is ride.  The price of gas went up by 2 cents a litre last night. I don't think Tonya is going to like that very much.
