7/Nov/18 I'm dreaming of a White Christmas

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

OK, So I know it's a bit early to be thinking of Christmas, but without the Halloween lights on, it's dark in the house at night.  At least with those lights on, I was able to see as I moved around the house.  Not to say that my night vision is bad.

I just like the lights.

They twinkle and what not.

The Big Guy is making a chicken stew right now.  Well, so far, he has to start it.  Which means that the house is going to be smelling GREAT.  He just don't know what I go though when he does all the great meals.

So he's got the chicken in the dutch oven.  It's partially frozen.  But he knows that it's going to cook.  Then, when it's cooked, he will remove all the bones and what not and boil those up again.  Making a chicken broth.  Once he's got that all done up, he will then add some potatoes and onions.  Plus what ever else he thinks would go great with a chicken stew.  He says that he is going to try to make some dumplings.  We will see how that goes.

Were you wondering about the ship's crests that the Big Guy was working on?  Well they are finished.

Aren't they marvelous looking? When you looking at the last two pictures, the "milky" stuff in the varathane that has been sprayed on the crests so that they will be protected and they will shine forever.
