Good morning Cape Breton.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
So we know it snows in Canada. It's done that for more than a few years. But the last few years, it hasn't snowed till late December. This year, it came early to Cape Breton. So much so that the Big Guy still has his all season tires on his car. He wasn't prepared.
During the drive home last night. The Big Guy wasn't driving for the conditions, nor the fact that he was driving on all season tires. He put on the brakes when he was coming up to an intersection and the ABS kicked in on the car.
What did that mean?
Essentially no brakes.
He slid right into the intersection while he was "standing" on the brakes.
Since it was windy and no one else was on the road, no one got hurt.
He drove a lot differently after that.
He still needs to get the lawn tractor converted into a snow blower. He still hasn't done that. Now, tomorrow it's supposed to rain, quite a bit. Then Sunday, it's supposed to be nice out. So I think he's going to wait till Sunday to convert his Cub Cadet.
So both Tonya and the Big Guy agree. It's nice to see the snow and all that. It is pretty to see the snow falling. But they both dislike it. There is ice on the back stairs. There was leaves that didn't get raked up. The Big Guy was caught, not being prepared.
