18/Apr/21 Dr Doolittle is pretty cool

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Tonya and the Big Guy borrowed a movie from Elaine.  It is Dr Doolittle.  Pretty cool.  There are talking animals.

Tonya and I have an agreement.

She gets snacks and food, and I'm supposed to get a portion of her food.  It supplements my kibble.  Yesterday she had toast with butter on it.

She always makes sure I get my own piece of toast.

My toe nail is all better.

And I have a question.  Who asked for all this rain?

I'm not a big lover of being wet.

Snow is different.  I don't mind snow.  Rain, that gets past my outer fur and goes right to my skin.

Yes, I have been to the groomer, but that's different.  They also blow dry me.  Plus they use shampoo and I smell nice when they are all done.

A few years ago, the Big Guy got this squirt bottle and the stuff smells like blueberry cheesecake.

When he sprays me, it's like a punishment.  I don't like that bottle at all.  He should throw it away.

17/Apr/21 I am pretty sure you have way too many fries on your plate

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So the Big Guy went and downloaded this ring tone for his phone.

Before there was the Crazy Frog and the ring tone, there was this guy that had did this joke about what 2 stroke engines sounds like.

Then, some marketing person put this onto Crazy Frog and I'm sure this person made millions on it.

As you can see in the picture, above, I have adopted the, I'm-going-to-stare-a-you-while-you-eat position.

Tonya had some fries on her plate.

I do really enjoy a few fries.

Now, they were not deep fat fried.

These were oven fried.

Tonya could have done them in the new Air Frier that the Big Guy got, but she really isn't up on how to use it just yet.

Myself, I couldn't give a rats ass how they cook the fries.

I just want some.

16/Apr/21 I split my nail and it hurts

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

i was out for a drive.  I just couldn't believe it.  I was so excited.

When I went to jump into the car.  There was an obstruction in the back of the car.

It is called a "car seat".

it's is where Aurora sits when she is in the car.

I wasn't too motivated to get in the car when I seen that.

Tonya had to help me get in the car.

Well, I eventually went in.

My toe nail went someplace it shouldn't have.

It split the nail.

Of course the Big Guy wanted to pick at it.

NOPE!

He checked it yesterday after he got home from work.

The part of the nail that split, fell off.

Just leave my paws alone, thank you very much.

15/Apr/21 looking to see when food drops on the floor

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday Tonya made home made pizza for their supper.

I got to have some of her crust.

She had her pizza before the Big Guy got home from work.

I got to stare at the Big Guy as he ate his.

Eventually I just knew, it was going to amount to nothing and just gave up.

Yesterday morning we had a snow squall.  For about 5 minutes, you could hardly see across the street.

But after it was done, there was snow on the ground.

It didn't last very long though.

That is the stuff that the Big Guy doesn't mind one bit.  The snow melted so fast, when he was leaving for work, the car didn't have any snow on it at all.

My friend Leo had a heart operation and got a stent put in.

But I heard last night, he is home again.

I'm not sure when he will be able to come for a visit.  But I am pretty sure, I will have to be careful around him.  I will not be able to play rough at all for a bit.
