4/Aug/22 someone just opened a cheese wrapper

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

As you can see in the picture.

We sat outside.

I did my business.

Then wanted back inside the house.

It was too warm to be back inside the house.

Or was it?

I tried to lay on the living room floor with Tonya and the Big Guy.

Screw that!!

I know what room I want to be in.

So, upstairs I went.

Tonya followed me and opened the master bedroom door.

Ahhh...

The cold floor.

Tonya told the Big Guy how I pretty much ran into the room and lay on my side.

I know yesterday morning, when Tonya finally got up, when she opened the bedroom door.  I was greeted with a wall of heat.

It was so very humid.

I backed up.

But I also had to pee.

Damn...

Gotta leave the cold room.

Don't worry cold room...

3/Aug/22 dog on TV barks a lot

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Last night, I got really tired of waiting for my humans to go upstairs.

I took the lead and went upstairs by myself.

The Big Guy and Tonya started laughing, saying that it wasn't bed time just yet.

Look, the sun was low on the horizon.

I'm really warm with my fur jacket on.

That room is special and it's got a box that makes the air cold.

I want to go to that room.

NOW!

Tonya went upstairs and opened the door for me.

Ahhh...

The cold floor.

My tranquility was disturbed when I heard the door chime.

Twice.

I was able to open the bedroom door.

I was ready to spring into action.

WTH...  The Big Guy is coming upstairs?  Tonya is at the bottom of the stairs.

Right...

They were closing up the house for the night and the door chimed as it was being closed and locked.

As soon as I figured this out, I went back to the cold room.

2/Aug/22 there is something special abour that room

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

We sat outside yesterday.

Thankfully, the clouds were visiting.

So I didn't have the sun beating down on my black fur.

Eventually the Big Guy wanted to go inside as the air was getting a bit chilly for them.

Well, inside the house, it was warm.

I would lay on the floor.

Nope, too warm.

I tried to move.

I would lay there.

Nope, too warm there too.

Tonya thought I wanted to be outside again.

Nope.

What I wanted, was to go upstairs.

I pawed at the baby gate that was partially open that blocks the stairs.

I was able to open it wide and I went upstairs.

I know which room I wanted to be in.

When Tonya got to the top of the stairs, I was laying on the floor, with my nose pressed up to the master bedroom door.

I was sniffing the cold air that was coming from under the door.

She opened the bedroom door and I rushed inside and laid down on the floor.

Ahhh...

The floor was actually cool on my belly.

I know where I want to hang out from now on.

I'm not sure what the unit is called, but it blows cold air on the floor.

This is my new favorite room in the house.

1/Aug/22 you will need to walk around

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday the grand kids came by.

They mostly hung out in the pool.

Then the Big Guy came inside and made some popcorn chicken.

They can't call it Chicken McNuggets as that name was taken.

I think that KFC may own the name popcorn chicken.  I'm not really sure what they call their little chicken pieces.

Tonya and the Big Guy used to go to KFC a lot when they lived in Winnipeg.

When they move here, there was a KFC, but it eventually turned into a Kenny's Pizza.

The Big Guy noticed that KFC chicken pieces have decreased in size over the years.

They also made Kraft Dinner.

Or as the packaging calls it, KD.

I hung out near Little Floyd.

They may be a paid in the ass, but they also drop a lot of food on the ground.

It I play my cards right, Little Floyd notices me and hand feeds me.

I have to be really gentle on his little fingers.

Then, when they are all done eating, I get to have what is left in their plates.

Tonya always over feeds them.

Which is nice, as that means I get it from them.
