12/Jun/20 I will hug you and squeeze you and call you George

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I was rather happy to see the Big Guy yesterday.  He came and got me from the Doggie Day Care.  When it was time to get into the car, I jumped right in.  I was looking forward to going home.

However, when I got home, Tonya noticed that my legs were full of dirt.  Same with the back of my legs.

Well, I didn't want that.  Tonya didn't want that.  The Big Guy, well, I suspect he didn't want that either.

So, off we went to the Four Paw Pet Spa.  I got a shower.  The Big Guy washed me down, then used conditioner and then hosed me off.  Of course there was the blow dry.  But in the end, my shaking, brought most of the water off my fur.

We came home and I went and found a place to lay down.

Tonya was upstairs sleeping.

The Big Guy, well he was playing his XBox.  So, everyone was content.

Today, my fur is completely dry.

It's still nice and soft.  Smells pretty good too.

So having a shower isn't so bad after all.

Just not too often, OK?

11/Jun/20 do you really think I'm sleeping

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

If Tonya were to open a cheese wrapper in the kitchen, I would be fully awake and moving, at the trot, towards the kitchen to see what she is going to do with that cheese she just unwrapped.

Yesterday morning, The Big Guy took me for a drive.  We went to the Goodhands Boarding Kennel.  I got to stay the night there.

I got to sniff a lot of different stuff.  A new feature they got is a swimming pool.  But I'm not much of a swimmer.

Tonya took the time to wash out all my bowls.  So when I get home, I will have clean bowls to have my water and eat my kibble.  That's not to say that she lets my bowls get really dirty.  She washes them often.

Yesterday, Terry, Haas, Craig and Elaine dropped by and they had their feed of lobsters.  All the lobster shells are in the green bin and the green bin is at the curb.  With the lid down.  So, only the rat that lives under the green bin will be able to get at the stuff.  Because the lobster shells are stinky, I don't think it will take very long before the rats can find the green bin.

Today, Tonya has work and the Big Guy is on his day off.  Now, obviously I will not be bothering the Big Guy.  I will always wait for Tonya to come down stairs and then I will go outside when she puts me out.  I don't bother with the Big Guy for such trivial stuff.

He has important stuff to do, like playing his XBox, or watching movies that Tonya doesn't much enjoy, like his Sci Fi stuff.  Tonya will watch them about as much as the Big Guy watches Rom Coms.

Well, I've got some napping that needs to get done.

10/Jun/20 what is this "lobster boil" you are talking about

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, the Big Guy and Tonya sat outside, in the rain, cooking lobsters.  38 lobsters.  It took them about 2 hours to cook them all off.  But that would be from the time they prepared stuff, to when they were all done cooking them.

The Big Guy isn't sure if he should advertise that he will cook your lobsters for you.  He got this outdoor propane turkey fryer.  So there is no mess in the house.  I know he would do this for family, for sure.  But he would want some of YOUR lobsters if he were to cook them for you.

A lot of people love lobsters, but they don't like the mess it makes after the fact.  Then your house smells.

Hell this turkey fryer is very portable.  He could probably go to YOUR house and cook them in your driveway.

Although he would not eat the lobster.  He would give it to Tonya to eat.  He isn't a big fan of lobsters.

Of course, they will be putting what is left of the lobsters in the green bin and then putting that green bin to the curb.

Oh I bet that green bin is going to smell really bad by the time it's emptied on Friday.

Now steak.  Oh he is rather fond of steaks.

I love steaks too.  But I have a feeling that I'm going to be missing out on all of this today.  I heard that I'm going to be going to the Doggie Day Care today to spend the night there.

Now, I've seen that they got a pool.  So, I wonder if the pool will be open today?  I might put my paws in the water, but I'm not so sure about swimming.  I'm really not a water dog.  I'm more of a snow dog.

9/Jun/20 do you see only one eye open, I'm only 1/2 awake

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So, it was really unusual to see the Big Guy getting up at 6:30 this morning.  He never sleeps in.  But I guess since it is his day off, he deserves to sleep in, when ever he would like to.

Today's big quest.  Is to boil lobsters.  But first, they have to get the lobsters.  That is job one today.

Then, tomorrow, will be the eating of the lobsters.

Tonya got this bush from her aunt a few years ago.  Well it grows right next to the deck.  It's called a bleeding heart.  Every year, when the bush grows, it expands up on to the deck itself.  I will stroll over and take a bite.

Tonya freaks out every time I do this.

As she should.

I guess these plants have this thing: soquinoline alkaloids. Pretty much big words that equals, poison.

Tonya told the Big Guy, his other job today, cut the bleeding hearts down.

To which he is quite happy to comply.

Tonya looked that the Big Guy and said, there is also a peonies bush near them, do NOT cut that down.

If that peonies is disguised as a bleeding heart bush, it's going to be cut.  So Tonya better go mark where it is so that it doesn't get cut.

I can see the Big Guy smirking.  I don't think he cares about Tonya's peonies at all.
