8/Nov/19 which came first, the chicken or the egg

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Well the chicken came first.  Without a chicken, eggs couldn't have been laid.  You can ask me any sort of questions like that as I am smart.

Just like yesterday, Tonya and the Big Guy took off for a bit.  When they came home, I greeted them at the door with all the excitement that I normally do.

But that's when I smelled "strange dog" on them.

They went to see Aurora again.

I smell those strange dogs on Floyd, Mylynne and Colby.

Colby gets upset when I want to sniff him.  He must think that I'm trying to attack him.  Nope, I'm just trying to identify the dog that you have.

The Big Guy put me outside.  But he didn't notice.  The sky decided to open up.  Now, if it was snowing that hard, he would have noticed right away.

Talking of snow, they are getting quite a bit in New Brunswick.  That is the province where I was born.  It sure was a long drive to get here.

That was such a long time ago.

The Big Guy and I went for a walk yesterday.  The Big Guy said that he was really cold on our walk.  Well yea, Winter is coming.

7/Nov/19 I can smell a different dog on your pants

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

When ever Tonya leaves the house and she goes to visit, with her sister, or her son, I can smell strange dog off of her.

She will laugh and say that she was cheating on me.

Really?  You think I can't smell them off of you?  I know you cheated on me with another dog.

Now, it's different when we go to the dog park.  Then I can see you.  Then I know that those dogs are just being flirts.

So, it's all over the news.  Now, not for us in Cape Breton, but in New Brunswick, where my non-furry Memere lives.  They are expecting quite a bit of snow tomorrow.  Were supposed to get a lot of rain.

The Big Guy has been saying, for the last couple weeks, that he is going to remove the lawn mower deck and put the snow blower attachment on the lawn tractor.  I'm not sure what he is waiting for.  Perhaps for some one else to do it for him.

Every year he does this, he also gets confused about how the pullies are supposed to run under the machine.  Each year, he studies this video.  He should draw it out and post it to the garage door so that he doesn't have to do that each year.

First world problems...  they are real for him...

6/Nov/19 this chair is a bit small

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I'm not sure why it's so funny to see me trying to fit in the chair the Big Guy sits in to play his XBox.  Not like I'm going to try to beat him on any of the games that he plays.

I just don't have the paws to be able to hold that XBox controller.

The finally paved the street that is next to us.  Although to be able to see the street, you have to go way up to the attic to see it.  Or, you can just go for a walk.

Tonya came with us on my walk yesterday.  She got in the way of my leash.  Cripes, you think she would pay attention to where I walk.  She does it all the time.  Then she gets upset with me due to her being in the way of MY leash.

The Big Guy cooked up this mess of bacon.  Now...  do you think I'm going to be given any of it?

Yea, lets throw that idea right out the window.

Did you see the Big Guy lately?  He has lost 10 pounds this last month.

I hope he can keep that up and continue taking me for walks.

I really love going for those walks.

Well, I better let the Big Guy go make his toasted bacon and tomatoe sandwich.  I'm not even going to go over and sniff his plate.  It would just be a waste of drool.

I will wait for Tonya to get up and I will drool over her breakfast.

5/Nov/19 I can smell old farts on this cushion

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So there is a time for walks and there is a time to beg for food.

I found out yesterday, they are not interchangeable.

Tonya made a toasted fried egg sandwich.

OH MY GOD!  It smelled so yummy!

She got herself a coffee and went into the living room to watch her Corrination St.

I rolled out the drool maker.  I put it on setting # 10.

Then I stood right in front of her.

I was being ignored.

I turned the drool maker on # 10.5 and then laid my mussel on her chest.  I don't even try this with the Big Guy.  He just stares at me while he is eating.  It gives me the willies and I just go away.

That's when it got savage.

The Big Guy was in the other room, happy as a clam, playing a game on his XBox.  Well, Tonya let out this yell that he was to take me for a walk... RIGHT FUCKING NOW!

So, in order to keep Miss Happy Pants happy, he took me for a walk.

But honestly, I didn't want to go just yet.  I wanted that sandwich.  I even turned up the drool maker to #10.75.

So, off we went for my walk.

When we got home, part of her sandwich was on the counter.  The Big Guy didn't notice it.  I did.  But before I could jump up on the counter to get it, Tonya brought the plate to the Big Guy and pushed the partial sandwich in his face.  He put the entire piece of sandwich into his mouth.

You could have shared.

All that drool and I got nothing for the effort.  Not even a crumb.  Not even the middle part and she could have given the multi grain bread to the birds.

Don't worry though...  I know there will be other sandwiches and other opportunities for her to feed me what is on her plate.
