12/Aug/19 I'm plum worn out

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

For those that have read the blog over the last few days, you all know that I haven't been doing so well.

I've been having accidents inside the my forever home.  This isn't normal for me.  Yes, I've been short taken in the past, but not like this.

This is embarrassing.

I don't want to have accidents.

I want to poop outside.

But it's all loose inside me and has to come out NOW!  Not later, but RIGHT NOW!

The Big Guy gave me an Imodium last night.  Well I had to go outside several times.  Which I did ask Tonya and the Big Guy were home to put me outside.

This morning, I barked really LOUD so that they would hear me upstairs.  The Big Guy came down and put me outside.

I came inside and he gave me a piece of cheese.  I could feel the pill inside the cheese, but he seemed happy when I chewed and swallowed it all.

You should see me, I've lost about 5 pounds since last week.  Not that I would recommend taking this route to loose weight.

11/Aug/19 some animals regurgitate their food

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday, when Tonya and the Big Guy were at work, I got sick.

Now, Tonya says that it was OK.

But I know it wasn't OK.

I wasn't regurgitating my food.  I was barfing.  Quite a bit actually.

Now, Tonya fed me some more pumpkin puree.  It's supposed to help my stomach.  I wonder if the Big Guy is going to give me some gravol before he goes to work?  That will put me to sleep and stop me from getting motion sickness.

After Tonya seen what had happened, she stayed home with me.

Yesterday when Tonya was trying to get me to take the pumpkin, she tried some herself.  She said that it was pretty bland.  So why am I expected to like it then?

I guess if anything happens today, it will be the Big Guy that comes home to stay with me.

But Tonya "babies" me a lot more than what he does.

I guess that's what mother's do.  Father's, well, unless your pretty much needing to go to the hospital, they just keep an eye on you.

So, I'm hoping, today will be a better day for me.

10/Aug/19 happiness is a dry fart

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

For those of you that read yesterday's blog, you will know that I was given something to eat that didn't agree with me.  It gave me EXPLOSIVE diarrhea.  Phew, I hope I don't have to go though that again.

The Big Guy was saying, it reminded him of a joke from when he was little.

Yes, it's a bit racist, but that's what it was back in the day.

So there was this Indian Chief, and they had to move him to a reservation.  Only he didn't want to go.

Soldier: Well Chief, you have to move.

Indian: Bough Ells does not move.

Soldier: We better get you to see the Doctor then.

Later...

Doctor: So Chief, the solder told me that you having some problems.

Indian: Bough Ells does not move.

Doctor: Here is a laxative, see me tomorrow.

Next day...

Doctor: How are you feeling Chief?

Indian: Bough Ells does not move.

Doctor: Here is a STRONG laxative, see me tomorrow.

Next day...

Doctor: How are you feeling Chief?

Indian: Bough Ells does not move.

Doctor: Here is the MAXIMUM laxative I can safely give you.  See me tomorrow.

Next day...

Doctor: How are you feeling Chief?

Indian: Bough Ells HAS to move.  Ti-pee full of shit.

Ba dum tiss...

Get it?  The Chief's name was "Bough Ells", sounds like "Bowels".  It's not as funny when you have to explain it.

9/Aug/19 this is the bone that started it all

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday, I was sick and having diarrhea all day long.  I was having accidents in the house, which I normally never have.

This bone had rolled off the deck and was in the grass and bushes that the Big Guy cleaned up yesterday.

He actually bent a lawn mower blade a few years ago hitting one of my bones that had rolled off the deck.  So he's a lot more careful now.

Anyways, this bone must have been in the bushes for a few months.

Rats were constantly visiting that area where the bone had fallen.

I'm sure the rats must have taken a few nibbles on the bone.

They also peed and did other things near the bone.

Then, when the Big Guy found the bone, he just threw it back up on the deck.  Not considering the bio hazard that was on the bone.

The Big Guy looked it up and he gave me an imodium pill wrapped in cheese.  That only served to slow my diarrhea down.  Yesterday was the first time I ever sat my arse down on the grass, lifted my two back legs in the air and then, using my front paws, hauled my sore arse across the grass.  It felt so good.

Then, Tonya called the Vet.  They said to go to the store and buy a can of pumpkin puree.  Not pumpkin pie filler.  It helps settle our stomach.

I had a good night last night.  Tonya was so worried, she spend the night on the couch.  I didn't have any more diarrhea.

I hope it stays that way.

They even had BBQ'ed hot dogs.  But I didn't get to have any.  I'm thinking, human food may be out of bounds for the next bit.

Kibble and water for me.
