4/May.17 may the 4th be with you

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Did you know that the Big Guy has to wait a full year to be able to say that?  May the 4th be with you.  Do you get it?  If you like Star Wars, you will get it.  Otherwise, probably not so much.

The Big Guy isn't feeling so well.  He has a "man cold".  I understand that women just don't understand what that is.

Women will often say that when a man gets a cold, he turns into a big baby.

The Big Guy is big, but certainly no baby.

When I was looking at the Big Guy this morning, he seems to be a lot better today.

Tonya tried to walk me yesterday.  That only lasted a few houses away from where I live.  Then she took me back home again. I am just too strong of a puller when she is walking me.  When the Big Guy walks me, I can't run as much.  Tonya dropped my leash a few times as I darted away from her.  She said that this is dangerous and took me back home again.

The Big Guy told me that my non-furry sister, Linda and her husband Jerry got home safe to Winnipeg.  Tuesday, after they left, I searched the house for them a couple times.  I don't know where Winnipeg is, but I hope I can seem them again some day.

The Big Guy finally got my video put together.  So here are my April photos.

Bye bye for now.

3/May/17 it rains a lot here

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

It's another foggy morning.  But the Big Guy will tell you, you don't have to shovel the rain.  It falls and waters the grass.  Soon enough, he will be outside mowing the lawn.

But I think that he has to go clean up the yard first.  There is some stuff that has blown into the yard that is trash.  When he cleans up the yard, it will look presentable once again.

That is until the fence gets put in and I start digging holes all over the back yard.

The Big Guy is also going to have to fix the lattice that I managed to eat off the deck.  Talk about a convenient hiddie hole if he wouldn't fix it...  it would be like a hidden dog house.

We went for a little walk yesterday and I jerked the leash when the Big Guy wasn't expecting it.  His knee was pretty sore afterwards.

We also walked past where the other Bernese Mountain Dog lived.  I say "lived" cause he moved to Sydney Mines.  But his owners seen me yesterday and they all wanted to greet me.  There was about 6 ladies and I got pats and belly rubs.  It was so nice.  Their dog is also named Max.  They wanted to know, how do they keep my chest hair so white.  Blue Dove dish soap.  That stuff is great.

I don't get washed that often.  Doggies don't have a shower as much as humans do.  They stink a lot after one day.  Phew, glad I don't have to worry about that.

The Big Guy is slacking and needs to get my April picture collection in place.  I am sure he will have that done soon.

Bye bye for now

2/May/17 your finger is in the photo

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Well done there Big Guy.  Your finger was across part of the lens when you were taking my picture.  Oh well, out of the "thousands" of pictures, there is always a few flubs.

So my non-furry sister Linda and her husband Jerry are on their way back home to Winnipeg.  They were here for a week.  I really liked Jerry.  He would sit on the floor and play with me.  He tried to teach me a few things, but I can be stubborn about a few things.

Tonya and the Big Guy took me for a walk early yesterday morning.  They were hoping that it would "wear me out" and that I would be calm and relaxed the rest of the day.  FOOLED THEM.  ha ha  That only gave me more energy at the later part of the day.

So the Big Guy took out a pair of pants from the closet and they are really too big for him.  He has to wear suspenders if he doesn't want them to fall down.  Since he doesn't wear suspenders that much, I think he is going to donate these pants to the Salvation Army to give to some one in need.

He started off wearing 5XL pants at the beginning of February and now he is thinking, he may be able to get into 3XL pants.  He will probably still wear his 4XL pants when at work.  Otherwise, the tight pants will cut into his belly after sitting all day long.

My non-furry sister, Linda, finally had her lobster before she left Cape Breton.  Jerrry and the Big Guy, they had steak.  The Big Guy cooked it in his cast iron skillet.  Jerry said that it was really good.  I am happy that I was able to get the rib bone from their steak.

The Big Guy still hasn't made my April photo collection video.  He said that he will get to it soon enough.  Perhaps tonight?  Who knows.  He gets busy with stuff.

Bye bye for now.

1/May/17 horray horray it's the 1st of May outdoor screwing begins today

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

There was so much fun to be had on the back deck.  Then the Big Guy took it away.  So what was I having fun with?  The recycle bin.

Tonya emptied it and took the recycles back to the recycle place.  She said that she got almost $9.00.  Now the recycle bin was empty.  I would jump against it and it would rattle and roll around the back deck.  Oh what fun!

This morning, I was barking and launching myself at the recycle bin.  I was happy happy...  then the Big Guy came outside and lifted the recycle bin and lowered it to the ground off the deck.  He even took the time to move it away from the deck so that I wouldn't be allowed to reach though the railings and touch it with my paws.

He is a party pooper.  Yup, that's what he is.  Mr Party Pooper.  Ole Mr Stick In The Mud.  Yes sir...  Mr Doom and Gloom.

Oh wait, I better stop, he is the only one that can control the leash when I am out walking.  OK, so he is a GREAT Guy.

Talking of the GREAT Guy...  on Saturday, he drove Linda and Jerry around The Cabot Trail.  Very scenic drive.  That is unless you do it in the fog.  Then it isn't so scenic at all.  So yesterday the weather was nice.  Hardly any clouds in the forecast.  The drove The Cabot Trail once again, well this time, they were NOT disappointed at all.  It was a great drive and they got all kinds of pictures.

The GREAT Guy will be creating some Dash Cam videos of the trip.

We are just about all caught up.  The GREAT Guy will have to make the April video collection.  But until he does, here is my March collection.

Good stuff eh?

Bye bye for now.
