4/Mar/17 I will have a rum and coke please

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

This is a picture of me yesterday when the Big Guy was throwing the broccoli cheese pizza dough out to the sea gulls.  They didn't want it either.

BUT when the Big Guy opened the back door for me to go for a ride to take Tonya to work, I ran in the back yard and found a few pieces and gobbled them up.  I am not as fussy as a sea gull.

I think the Big Guy turned the heat way down too much last night.  He has got the little space heater on and the furnace is turned up.  If he had a fur coat like me, he wouldn't be cold.

Today, the Big Guy is going to be moving the fridge from the dining room to the garage.  He said that he is going to put me in the kennel while he is moving the fridge.

The little space heater just turned itself off.  I wonder if there is a thermal cut off switch?  Oh well, the Big Guy isn't that cold any longer.

Did you know that the Big Guy is going to be 55 this month?  He said that he is looking forward to going to some stores and asking for his Senior Discount.  There is other stores he will have to wait till he is 60.  I am pretty sure that he is going to be happy about showing his ID to prove he is a senior.

The wind is moving the trees.  I better go out side so that I can bark at them.

Bye bye for now.

3/Mar/17 big paws, little keys on the keyboard

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

How many of you can type on the keyboard?  I don't mean the two finger typer.  I mean someone that uses both hands and can type about 60 words a minute.  I am a lot slower than that.  I miss spell a lot of stuff.  Good thing there is a word correction feature in this blog.

The Big Guy will be getting on the scale later this morning.  I sure hope he has lost more weight.  He said, when he gets to 375, we are going to be going for a walk.  Then more and more walks after that.  He better dress warm, cause I got my fur coat on and I don't mind the cold that much.

Earlier this week, he was at 386.  11 more pounds and he is going to be taking me for walks.  I've been eyeballing the food he is eating to make sure that he is loosing the weight.

He has been wearing 5XL pants.  Yesterday, he got into his 4XL pants.  He told me that he wasn't pinched by his pants come the end of the day.  Victory for him.

Yesterday, it was Tonya's day off.  BUT at 6:30, the Big Guy is calling her on the intercom to wake her up.  Good thing he woke her up, she had to go pee.  But she went to bed right afterwards.

They made this broccoli pizza yesterday.  They didn't like it too much and are going to be feeding it to the sea gulls.  Not the topping, but but the crust.  Oh no, the Big Guy made sure to take them off first.  He said that's going to be his lunch today.  But the crust is going out to the sea gulls.

I guess the Big Guy doesn't remember when I was flying like the Sea Gulls that are around here...

Tonya needs her dining room back.  Right now, the old fridge is sitting in the dining room.  She told the Big Guy, he has to move the old fridge to the garage this weekend...  or else...  (Insert dramatic music here)

We still haven't heard from the second fence guys to know how much they are going to charge to install a fence in the back yard.  It would be nice to be in the back yard again.  I only get to go there if the Big Guy or Tonya is with me.  They said that I am an escape artist.  I can pop my collar and my harness off my body without too much effort.

Bye bye for now.

2/Mar/17 silly human is smaller than me

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

So who is taller?  Me, or my non-furry mommy?  I am pretty sure, if I grow any larger, I will definitely be taller than her.

The Big Guy made all kinds of new friends.  They all want to see me and view my Blog to see what I've been up to.  To them I say:  HELLO!

The Big Guy met with the Fence Guy the other day.  So far, no quote for a new fence to keep me in the back yard.  The Big Guy must think that I am Mexican...  get it...  a wall...  wants to keep me in...  no...  nothing eh...

Tough crowd.

They made bun-less cheese burgers last night.  I didn't get any of the hamburger cause it has onions in it.  But I did get some cheese.

The BIg Guy tried to use lettuce for the burger bun.  He burnt his finger tips.  The hamburger came right off the cast iron grill.

Then there was the mayo that he put on his burger, well that made the burger slippery inside the lettuce.  I think he got a recipe for this Keto Bread.  He calls it Oppsie Bread.  Don't know why he doesn't make it already.  He could also have made is 90 second Keto Bread.  Or he could have just ate the cheese burger with a fork.  He could also have stuck a stick in it.  He might have started something new.

Do I have to do all the thinking for these humans?

I was just looking at the Big Guy's post on Facebook.  Some of his new friends have Bernese Mountain Dogs too.

Meow...  they are sexy like me...  I mean... aah... woof woof, they are sexy like me.

I need to go outside for a bit.  I need to bark at something that needs to be barked at.  Even if I just bark at the wind.

Bye bye for now.

3/1/2017 where is the rain

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

The Big Guy is pretty happy.  Yesterday he got weighed and the scale was at 386.0.  That is 1 pound every 2 days.  He believes by this Christmas, he will have lost 100 pounds.  He is really looking forward to that.

They had another fence guy come over to do an estimate on the fence for the back yard.  Once it's installed, I will get to play around alot more.

BUT, it will also mean that I have access to all the grass areas.  I am a digger.  So there will be MANY holes in the back yard.

You may think that my fur is white.  Just wait.  It's going to be many shades of mud when I am done.

The weathernetwork is saying that we are supposed to get a lot of rain today.  Some parts of New Brunswick, well, they are not getting rain.  They are getting snow.  That is where my non-furry Memere lives.  Same with my non-furry brother Marcel and his wife Kim.  I hope they can all come visit again some day.  They were lots of fun.  Perhaps we could have a bone fire in the pit.  Cook hot dogs and I could have treats.

But mosquitoes live in the summer.  That's too bad too.  They really bug the Big Guy.  He was talking about building a bat house.  Perhaps a lot of bat houses.  I wonder what bats do in the Winter?  Do they fly South where the temperature is warmer?

I am a little tired and think I am going to go for a nap.

Bye bye for now.
