8/Jun/23 going to lay at your feet

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Big Guy came downstairs from work.

I was laying "in the way".

He doesn't mind that I'm comfortable.

She swishes his hand.

I know what it means.

I got up and moved over by Tonya.

She doesn't "swish" me away.

We went for our walk yesterday.

It was nice.

He let me sniff stuff while he just stood and waited for me.

Later on, Tonya took me.

Not everyone cuts their lawn.

During our walk, I was walking where there is dandelions.

Now, they no longer have their yellow heads.

They have gone to seed.

I had their while seeds all over my face.

I had my nose down trying to sniff stuff.

I was watching the Big Guy looking at YouTube recipes.

He is on cooking duty the next two days.

He will be cooking stuff I can't have.

7/Jun/23 lets go walk

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

When I go for a walk with the Big Guy, it's a leisurely stroll.

When I walk with Tonya, it's a route march.

I'm super tired when Tonya gets me home again.

Breathing really hard.

I'm old now.

She may say, I'm only 7 years old, but I'm not.

Due to my size, I'm about 70 years old in dog years.

I'm not the standard 7 dog years for every1 human year.

I'm about 10 or 11 years to one human year.

Try doing that when your older.

At least with the Big Guy, he will allow me to sniff stuff.

He catches his breath and waits on me.

He is still a pretty heavy man.

So those little breaks, he appreciates a lot.

At least I think so.

But there was that one day, he was walking quite the clip.

Trying to get me not to poop on our walk.

So I shit right on the sidewalk.

He walks slower now and allows me to poop on the grass.

Showed him who's boss.

6/Jun/23 hiding from the rain

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

What a dumb expression.

It's raining cats and dogs.

Humans are really weird.

There was a bit of beef brisket that was left in the fridge.

Tonya threw it out to the birds.

If only I could caw like a crow.

Or cry like a sea gull.

I would of loved to have had the chance to have that left over beef.

Tonya wanted the Big Guy to make Chicken Caesar Salad for tonight's supper.

He told her, go a head.

She didn't realize, she gets off work 30 minutes before he does.

She wants him to cook up come chicken this morning, that all she has to do is cut it up and then make the salad.

The Big Guy made some oatmeal raisin cookies.

Why does he do that?

I can't have raisins.

I'm sure he did that on purpose.

He knows I love cookies.

Well, I love any human food.

There better be some kibble in my dish when I go look.

5/Jun/23 nice weather for a duck

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, by the time we got home, my paws were soaked.

On the upside, I didn't have to walk on hot sidewalks.

I know the weather is going to get warmer.

So it will be early morning walks and not afternoon walks.

Tonya is starting on a new account called Disney+ today.

Of course the Big Guy is pretty happy for her.

This also means they get free access to that streaming service.

There was a car that hit a telephone pole yesterday and took out the power for a lot of the residence of Sydney Mines.

Tonya didn't ask if Clarke needed to work at our house.

But if he doesn't have power today, he could certainly sit in the dining room and have all the access to the internet that he would need.

The Big Guy just peeked at the Nova Scotia Power Outage maps.

It would seem the power has been restored.

We have a weather warning.

We are supposed to get upwards of 75 mm of rain over the next 3 days.

Cape Breton doesn't need all this rain, the mainland does.

They still seem to have the wild fires on the go.

But this cooler weather and the rain will certainly help.
