8/Aug/19 me and my lonely bone

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday the Big Guy decided to take out the bushes that are beside the deck.  I've been looking at the bushes and I can see them moving.  It's cause there is some small animal that is in the bushes.

So this is what it looked like before the Big Guy took them out.

This is during.

This is after he was done.

As you can see, it got out the lawn tractor to shred the evidence.

Then, later on, he bought out the other hot dog maker.

This makes the hot dogs taste better.

It's called a Charcoal BBQ.  It takes wood and burns it to make heat.

But yesterday, it didn't make hot dogs.  Nope, it made steak.

Really AWESOME steak.

Of course, I didn't have to wait very long before Tonya was cutting the fat off her steak and putting it my food dish.

Then, afterwards, I got to chew on the bones.  There was still meat on the bones.  I was in doggie heaven.

We also went for a drive yesterday.  We went to this place called George's River.  Not sure who George is and why he got a river named after him.  But I digress.  I had this thing called Ice Cream.  Oh wasn't that cold and sweet.  I licked and licked it.  I was tempted to bit it and swallow it, but I knew I would get a "brain freeze".  Those hurt a lot.

I over heard Tonya and the Big Guy chatting.  I guess he is going to be making hamburgers on the charcoal grill today.  I hope he puts a couple hot dogs on too.

7/Aug/19 why yes, I would like to go for a drive

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday the Big Guy did this thing called a donair pizza.  He made quite a bit too.  Enough that after it was cut up, they got to put some in the freezer.

So he had more than enough to spare.

Do you think he would share with me?

Nope.

He also made a chicken stew.  As he says, thick and hearty.  Tonya said it was really yummy.  Again, he made enough that there are tupperware containers of it in the fridge.

So he had more than enough to spare.

Again, do you think he would share his chicken stew?

No, he did NOT.

The Big Guy did get his parcel in the mail.  It was from Moen.  About a month ago, the aerator blew out of the kitchen tap.  Well they sent him a brand new part.  He was so happy.  It put the new one in and the old one in the recycle bin.  Took about 40 seconds to replace.  Tonya was doing dishes at the time.  She thought it would take a lot more to replace than what it did.

So the Big Guy is so happy that he got his kitchen tap working once again.

He says, it's those little victories in life that makes him happy.

I'd take a nice steak, that would be a victory for me.

6/Aug/19 will you play with me and bunny

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

See the bone that is behind me?  To the right of the chair?  This is something that the Big Guy will stub his toe on when he is walking about the house in the dark.  He doesn't always wear slippers.

I guess you could say, I'm pretty lucky that he doesn't get upset with me for leaving my bones around the house.  But after he trips over a few, the bones end up outside.

Or worst...

In the green bin.

Then the green bin gets put to the curb and some guys with a big truck empty the green bin.

But it's all good.  A few days later, this is a new bone for me to chew on.

The Big Guy has what he calls a "sinus headache".

Humans are weird.  They got this stuff that comes out of their nose when they are sick.  I guess they call it "snot".  I bet they have a real scientific name for it.

But then they get too much of this snot, they get a headache.

So the Big Guy is going to be back at it again today.  He is going to make a donair pizza.  I will be lucky if I can bum the crust off of Tonya.  It smells so good too.  The Big Guy has to wait for the grocery store to be open so that he can go shopping for a few items.

#1 on that list is going to be coffee.  He ran out of coffee and he had to make it from these old coffee grounds that were in the back of the cupboard.  They were for his French Coffee Press (that he doesn't use).  Honestly, it made a very weak coffee this morning.  He knows that Tonya isn't going to like that very much.  Oh well, she can always go to Tim Hortons and get herself a coffee.

Oh geesh... I hope she would go to Tim Hortons.  She could bring me back a Time Bit for me.  YUMMY!

5/Aug/19 you will not be able to leave without me

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

So the Big Guy was on Facebook yesterday.  My non-furry Memere posted a picture of these biscuits.  Well the Big Guy seen something in the recipe that he only has used in Lemon Meringue pies.  That was cream of tartar.  Normally this helps the egg white fluff up.

So this guy, gets up at 5 this morning and creates this:

They look pretty good eh?

Oh, so now you want the recipe?

Well, the Big Guy figured you would want that.  Click >>HERE<< for the recipe.

Now, as it stands, he isn't going to share any of the tea biscuits with me.

No.  That's just an understanding we got.

I know that.

So I'm going to wait for Tonya to come down stairs.  Of course I'm going to greet her like I haven't seen her in the last few years.  That's my thing.

She will go get her coffee and then she is going to remove the tea towel that is over the biscuits.  She is going to put some butter on a biscuit, oh, she better get two of them.  Your going to see why in a minute.

Then I will follow her to the living room.  She will sit down and turn the TV on.  Now, I will do a short hop and put my front paws on either side of her hips and I will lay my mussel right under her mouth.

She will NOT be able to get the tea biscuit to her mouth without it passing by my whiskers.

ACTIVATE THE DROOL FACTORY

She is going to be upset with me.  Her chest will be soaked with my drool.  She will try to push me off.  But in the end, she will give me part of her biscuit in order to get rid of me.  ha ha

Nice try lady, nice try.  I didn't go anywhere.

GIVE ME MORE BISCUIT
