4/Jun/19 did you want to get past, well, too bad, step over

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Tonya told the Big Guy that he has ONE job to do today.

That is to start the wine kit that they got my non-furry Memere brought down last week.  It's still sitting in the kitchen.

He must have about a thousand wine corks from all the kits he has bought.  Just about as many shrink wraps too.  He should really sell them to someone that would use them.  Even if it wasn't for wine, there are people that do crafts with wine corks.

But these ones are new and haven't been stained with wine.

So if you got a hobby that includes wine corks, just talk to the Big Guy about the corks.  I'm sure he would let them go on the cheap.

I just did the math.

He has about 20 wine kits that he has made.  There is 30 corks to a kit.

So that's about 600 wine corks.

Not quite a thousand.

But if you opened up each little bag of corks that threw them around.  And then would have to pick them all up.

You would certainly think, there is well over a thousand of them.

3/Jun/19 the top to the lighthouse is missing

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Tonya bought these two light houses last year from a guy that was selling them on the side of the road.  One of them fell off the deck railing last year and has never been repaired.

It's just not on the priority list to be fixed.  Since it isn't really a light house, but a decoration, no one is worried about it.

The Big Guy was looking at the weather and it would seem that we are in for more rain this week.

Normally on their days off, Tonya likes to hang the laundry outside on the clothes line.  I guess she is going to have to dry everything in the dryer this time.

The Big Guy finds that when stuff gets hung out on the line, it gets stiff.

Now, if it's windy, it beats the stiff out of the clothes.

BUT

If it's windy and the clothes are not pinned to the clothes line that well...  Tonya finds her clothes on the ground and in the grass.

That means she has to wash them again (sometimes).

So the Big Guy's motto on this.

Just put them in the dryer and be done with it.  You never get stiff clothes out of the dryer.

2/Jun/19 this is where hot dogs come from

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Were supposed to get some rain today.  Well, some being about 40 to 45 mm.  That's just shy of 2 inches of rain.

I know that some of you out there are saying that isn't a lot of rain.  But when it's constantly raining, that can be demoralizing.

All this week, up to Friday, it's supposed to rain each day.  Not that it's supposed to rain a lot.  But enough to keep everyone inside.

Now, all this rain is good for the people that are on well water.

It's also good if your a duck.

But I'm not a duck.

Remember how I was talking about the crests that the Big Guy paints.  Well there was one that was given to a Korean War Veteran.  I guess he really liked the crest.

This would be the gentleman holding the crest.

This is the crest that he received.

I'm really proud of the Big Guy.

1/Jun/19 this is a chair that my non-furry pepere built

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

This morning, as I was looking outside, I seen two crows perched on the power line.

I have to wonder, what does a crow do all day long?  If you click on the picture, you will see a big screen and you can see that there is two crows there.

But the crows don't want to live inside with humans.  Are they afraid that the humans would eat them?

You would think, like dogs did, it was beneficial for them to let the humans be the master and then the humans gives them food and shelter.

My job is to raise the alarm when ever something moves outside.

Mostly other dogs.

They may want to take my place in my forever home.

So I raise holy hell when ever something like that happens.

Normally this gets me yelled at.

The Big Guy is enjoying his coffee this morning.  Yesterday he had to go to the hospital and get some blood work done.  Which is fine, he's done that in the past.  But it also meant, no food or drink before he went to the lab.

When Tonya got up, she seen that there was no coffee done.

She has made coffee before.  But not in this coffee maker.  The basket has to sit, just so.  Otherwise, when the coffee is being made, it spills everywhere.

And that is just what happened.  What.  A.  Mess.

Boy oh boy, was she ever mad.

She used the keurig to make the coffee.  Which the Big Guy found a bit strange.  But he didn't realize what had happened.

Next time, perhaps he can get the coffee ready for her before he leaves the house.
