Good morning Cape Breton. Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home. Tonya is such a good dance partner. I could smell the veggie kebabs. I could smell the mushrooms and onions cooking inside the tin foil packs with butter. I could smell the pork loin steaks that were being smoked with the apple wood chips. I could smell everything on that charcoal BBQ. I just wanted to dance. Then the Big Guy said, NO PORK FOR YOU!
I was sad. Tonya did let a few pieces fall on the kitchen floor that I was able to get to without the Big Guy knowing. I also ate a flying ant. Tonya wasn't too happy about that.

Good morning Cape Breton. Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home. I am hoping that the Big Guy will be uploading my videos and putting them in my Blog today. Yesterday we went to the Bras d'Or Lakes and I was looking under water for the rocks that they were throwing in the water. Not many dogs feel comfortable about putting their face underwater. We went to the Dog Park over at the Open Hearth Park in Sydney. It was Ribfest yesterday. So there was a lot of cars parked there. Thankfully there was ONE spot left open. We parked there and I ran around for a bit by myself. This one guy came inside the fence. We thought he was bringing his dog, but he was just there to dump his garbage. We came home and the Big Guy cut up a pork loin and BBQ'ed it. Tonya dropped a few pieces on the floor. Do NOT tell the Big Guy this. He thought the pork was too good to share. They were going to have Clarke and Elaine over for BBQ last night, but Clarke had plans to go visit with his friends. I know that Tonya was kinda let down with this news. But he has friends of his own that he likes to visit with. The upload for the videos is going SUPER slow. I will have to get this done for tomorrow's blog. That is unless you know the youtube site and will be able to see my videos before they get posted. Bye bye for now.
Good morning Cape Breton. Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home. Yesterday we all took turns wearing my Doggles. Goggles for Dogs, so Doggles.
I REFUSED to keep them on. The Big Guy was thinking that they would be OK when he is using his snow blower. But he already has a pair of snow goggles that his Mum bought him for XMas this past year. So he does NOT need to wear mine. Tonya was driving around yesterday and she seen Bailey was off her lead. She was going to stop and bring her home, but there is this other dog that lives there and he isn't so friendly. Bailey wasn't going too far from her home. I hope she is OK. Yesterday the Big Guy had done up some steaks and scallops on the BBQ. I got to have the bones that was left over. That was until Tonya thought that I have chewed enough on the bones and then threw them off the deck and into the grass. Now some other animal will have at them. If not, the next time the Big Guy is out mowing the lawn, there is going to be bone shrapnel flying out from under his lawn mower. Do you see how the Big Guy is sitting in the sun? Well he doesn't have any sunscreen on. He got burnt a bit. He can be dumb about stuff at times. Tonya wanted to sit out MORE on the front deck, but the Big Guy was bitching about his sun burn. Tonya called him some names and they went inside. Then she seen that he was a bit burnt. She apologized for being not so nice. Yesterday we went for a LONG walk. All the way down to Main St. I don't know why they call it that cause it is COMMERCIAL St. But went to see Verna at her store. Then we walked home. The Big Guy liked it cause he didn't have to worry about people being on Commercial St that would be scared of me. Normally when we walk down there, he holds me tight to his side. I want to sniff everything and he doesn't let me. So it is annoying to both of us when we walk down there. The Big Guy wants the computer so that he can upload a video. So I gotta go for now. Good morning Cape Breton. Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home. Today, the Big Guy has to finished this Keto Pancake challenge. He is in this group of YouTubers and someone challenged him to make some special pancakes. They are either going to taste great, of they will be a flop and will be given to the sea gulls. It seems there is no in between with that kind of stuff. But he and Tonya haven't had pancakes in several months now. Yesterday was clean, clean, clean. Everything got cleaned yesterday. No time for me. That's all that Tonya did. I kept getting in the way. Well today, after the pancakes are done, I wonder if the Big Guy is going to be spending time with me? I heard him saying that he will be trying to make ribs on his charcoal BBQ today. I think I may be getting some bones by the end of the day. Paws crossed. Floyd will be dropping by. Tonya and the Big Guy were talking about the vet yesterday. She said that from now on, could we bring some special treats for when I visit there. That way, I will not associate them ganging up on me to hold me down while they clipped my dew claw. The weather has been great so far. There is rain coming up, but only during the week days. It should be nice all weekend. Well, the Big Guy is saying that it's PANCAKE time. So I gotta go for now. Bye bye for now.
