Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Tonya got me some new kibble.

The individual nuggets are smaller.

Tonya doesn't like it when the individual nuggets are smaller.

More of the nuggets fall out of my mouth while I'm eating.

Then the Big Guy walks along, past where my food dish is and CRUSH goes nugget if he isn't paying attention, or, if it's dark.

Have you ever watched a spooky movie and have you ever noticed how it's always dark in the house.

Well, that is this house.

They don't leave a lot of lights on, when they are not in that room.

Have you ever watched those home renovation shows?

EVERY light is on in the house.

Today, the Big Guy wants to have fish cakes for supper.

Which is fine.  But he uses onions in it.

I can't have onions.

Which does fish cakes gotta have onions in them?

18/Oct/21 is that a leaf that blew out of the tree

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Today, well, this morning, the Big Guy has to go to the hospital for a Dr Appointment.

I'm not sure why the call this building a hospital.

It should be called an elderly care building.

There is no emergency room in that building any longer.

But it's the same building where the Dr has his office.

The Big Guy doesn't like it much as the parking is horrible.

But he does need to get his medication refilled.  So it's a necessary evil.  At least for him.  

If he could go to the Vet, it would be so much easier.

Good parking.

The patients don't have anything that he could catch.

He may even get a treat if he is a "good boy" when the Vet would see him.

Don't give him any ideas...  

He may just see if he could see the Vet instead.

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I really don't like it very much, when Tonya and the Big Guy leave me home alone.  

Last night, they went to their friend's house and left me alone.

I was really happy when they arrived home again.

They stayed up with me for a bit and then went to bed.

Geesh, you were gone, outside the house, now, your gone to bed?

We are supposed to get some rain today.

Not that the grass, or the trees, or the plants really needs it.

But, I suppose, if you live in the country, you would want the rain to fall.  Otherwise, your well might dry up.

I've never been without water.

Tonya has a big water dish for me.  Right next to my kibble dish.

Then, when I go outside, she also makes sure that I've got a water dish there too.

She is really nice to me like that.

Always running around, making sure all my water dishes are full.

The Big Guy only fills them when he sees they are empty.

All this talk of water.  

Gotta go have some.

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Starting at the 1st of the month and the 16th of the month, the Big Guy gets new games for his XBox.  Each year, his Mum has given him money for Christmas.  Each year, he spends most of it on his Gold Membership.

He really likes his games.  He has a lot of them now.

Do you remember, last week, I was talking about some meals that the Big Guy made up a head of time, so that he would have stuff to eat, when he was on his lunches?

One of the items he made was Chinese Noodles.  This was something that the Big Guy's father and him came up with a long time ago.  I think the only thing that is Chinese about it is the Soy Sauce that is in it.

There was some pulled pork that was in the freezer for a LONG time.

Tonya was actually going to thaw it and throw it out to the birds.

Nope, he made his Chinese Noodles.

Tonya had some and wished that she had thrown out the pork.  She said that it tasted freezer burnt.

The Big Guy isn't quite sure that it was bad.  Just old.  Also, sort of bland.  It was from a Pork Loin and there isn't a lot of fat that was on that meat.

Oh well, you can't win them all.

At least that is what they tell me.

Which is sort of true.

Much like when I beg the Big Guy to give me what ever it is he is eating.

No winning there at all.
