4/Jul/23 I'm so hot, I've got many paws

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Tonya will often say, she is having a hot flash.

So will a few other women.

Then, she will say, she has been going through many paws.

Other women will say, they also got many paws.

Apparently, women get many paws when they get older.

Eventually many paws will go away as they get older.

It's their change in life.

Not sure is that's how you spell it.

I've looked.

I've never seen a woman change to have 4 paws like I have.

They all seem to have 2 feet and 2 hands.

None of them got paws.

No wonder men find women hard to figure out.

It must be an optical illusion that only women can see.

I will keep an eye out though.

See if I can find a women that has many paws.

Humans...

3/Jul/23 is your lunch tasty

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Tonya had some money left over on a Gift Certificate from A&K Lick-A-Chick.

She had some left overs.

I watched her eat.

Eventually she got tired of watching me watch her.

She gave me a lot of her fries.

I knew she would.

I just have to stare at her as she eats.

They had wings and salad for supper.

Not much to beg for there.

We are supposed to get some rain today and the next few days.

The Big Guy is hoping the weather is going to be nice this Thursday and Friday.

He would really like to get the outside spindles done on the side of the driveway.

The flowers are still in bloom, so he knows, doing the long side of the deck, is out for now.

The Big Guy noticed that the hemlock tree that is next to his garage, is sprouting some leaves.

He knows, he has to cut that down further.

Then drill into the stump and put a lot of epsom salts on the stump.

That will kill the stump.

But, today, he is at work, so all of these little jobs are on hold for now.

2/Jul/23 fireworks are loud

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday evening, we went to sit outside for a few minutes.

Mainly so that I could do my "business".

Then, someone started setting off fireworks.

I wanted inside the house, right now.

Outside was scary.

Inside, wasn't much better as the loud sounds were hurting my ears.

The Big Guy made some sort of hamburger helper yesterday.

Not the stuff that you would purchase at the store, but home made stuff.

Nothing specific about it, but of course, onions were in it.

I went out on the back deck with the Big Guy.

I started to do the poopie dance.

The Big Guy rushed me off the back deck.

He was yelling at me that he had just painted the deck and he wasn't going to let me poop on it.

He rushed me out the back door where I had went in the grass.

Lately, my poo has been very loose.

Tonya is very concerned about this.

I am panting a lot more than usual.

I am effected by the heat and it's not the heat of Summer just yet.

Warmer days are on the way.

1/Jul/23 Happy Canada Day

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Some people have gone off and purchased some fireworks for today.

I don't much like them.

They were talking about having silent fireworks.

I can't see that going over very big.

The Big Guy was outside painting the back deck.

For the most part, it's done.

Just the outside spindles needs to be finished.

He has done both sides of the spindles on the side where the back door is.

Just the short side by the garage and the longer section has to be done.

But Tonya's flowers are in bloom.

So, no painting.

Once they have done blooming, perhaps he will be able to finish that job.

Then, next year, he might be able to do a 2nd coat on the back deck.

Now that it's done, it's not a priority to get done.

But he does have left over paint.

He knows his wooden chairs that he's has made, needs to be painted.

Paint is paint, so, he might paint the chairs grey.

But not today.

Today, he is expecting rain.
