4/Jun/23 walk in the rain

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, I was able to go for a walk with Tonya.

It rained while we were out.

Apparently, it is due to rain straight through till Friday.

The Big Guy isn't sure what to make for Tonya for tonight.

She is visiting with Terry while he is at the hospital.

She is back to work on Monday, and she is on a new account.

It is Disney+.

There is a few people and they don't know when the training is going to be.

So, the Big Guy has to make meals for the next week.

Normally he makes a casserol.

He could make hamburger helper.

That is easy to reheat and is a fast meal.

I think he is going to steam a bunch of eggs and peel them too.

That is another quick meal they can have.

Tonya will sometimes give me one of the boiled eggs.

If she doesn't cut it up, I try to swallow it whole.

That's when the Big Guy calls me an aligator.

I don't always chew my food.

3/Jun/23 here comes the rain

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Big Guy was out mowing the lawn yesterday.

It was really dry and dusty.

Especially on the front parts on the lawn.

Last week, when he mowed the lawn, the grass clippings are all on the side of the hill next to the driveway.

Well, that is all dried out.

He isn't sure where his leaf blower bag got to.

But if he could find it, he would have sucked up the grass clippings and put them into the green bin.

However, now that it's raining, the glass clippings should decompose.

Sort of like natural fertilizer for the grass.

There is also the other side of the lawn.

It doesn't get a lot of sun, so that top soil tends to dry out a lot.

The lawn mower blows around the dirt a lot.

The Big Guy's car was pretty dirty.

There was the pollen on the car.

There was also grey dust.

The Big Guy knows that grey dust is from the wild fires that are dropping ash on to the ground.

With the rain, it should allow the ash to get off stuff and onto the grass.

More free fertilizer for the Big Guy's lawn.

2/Jun/23 air quality warnings

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Right now, where I'm at, we are at a 5 on the Air Quality Health Index.

That is moderate.

I can still go for my walks.

It is supposed to drop to 3 later today.

It's also supposed to rain for the next week.

That will definitely help with the fires that they are having on the mainland.

You should see the Big Guy's car.

Because it's black, it shows the dirt and dust.

Since the are particles are landing on the car, you can really see what's in the air.

The Big Guy put in the screens into the windows.

So far, the Air Conditioner is still on the little table that is next to the window.

The "Cold Room" hasn't been activated just yet.

The Big Guy had gout in his hand on Wednesday.

It was really sore for him to type on the computer keyboard.

At first, he thought it was arthritis.

There is pills he can take for gout, which he did take.

But the cure is almost worst than gout itself.

It really "drags him out" and puts him into a head fog.

But his head fog is all done and he's feeling a lot better.

1/Jun/23 the fan is out

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

It's official.

Summer is close.

The fan is back in the living room.

Tonya told the Big Guy to make sure to put the Air Conditioner in the window.

After work yesterday, they went and sat outside.

They could hear the peeper frogs.

They could also hear a lot of cars on the road too.

Eventually we all came inside and I was able to lay by the fan.

I am hoping that I will be in the cold room tonight.

Guess I will find out.

The Big Guy is off today.

Not sure what he is going to be making.

He has had a lot of beef lately.

So much so that he got gout in his hand.

He didn't think it could happen, but it did.

He will have to make some stuff that doesn't aggravate him further.

Probably stuff I can't have.

Like stuff with onions in it.
