Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Doesn't matter if they are coming home from work when they are just upstairs, or coming home as they were working outside of the house, I'm just as happy to see them coming home from work.

Funny part is, I can go visit them while they are working upstairs.

But when I do go visit them, they just pat me and pay attention to their computers.

They both have a head set on.

Then they are talking to people that are not there in front of them.

It's like this program Ghost, that the Big Guy likes so much.

The wife can see and talk with the ghosts.  But the husband can't see or hear them.

Do they have some sort of mystical powers that they can talk with random people out there?

Every so often, I will hear the phone ring.  It's mostly Tonya that answers that phone.  The Big Guy will look at the phone to see the Caller ID.  If it's not for him, he will ignore the phone.

I've heard, a long time ago, phone's didn't have Caller ID.  The only way to know who was calling, was to pick up the phone.

Tonya's sister calls a lot.  The Big Guy hardly ever picks up the phone when she is calling.  She never wants to talk with the Big Guy anyway.

3/Mar/22 here is my toy so we can play together

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I wonder what the Big Guy is going to be making today.

Tonya put out some pork chops.

This is something that I can't have.

But it's the side dish that I have my eyes on.

He could make fried potatoes.  But he puts onions in that.

He could make some fried rice, but he puts onions in that too.  But, he has put some rice aside in the past, with out the onions.

If he made like Kraft Dinner.

That would be amazing.

Tonya always makes sure that I get some Kraft Dinner.

I'm going to have to watch him to see what he makes.

That's if we got any Kraft Dinner in the cupboard.

The Big Guy always thinks back to when he was a kid. his Dad used to complain that it was $0.25 a box and you could get no name stuff for $0.17 a box.

They tried the no name cheese and noodle dinner.  It got thrown out to the bird.  It tasted like sand.

I will just have to keep an eye out to see what get's made.

2/Mar/22 how is my favorite human today

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

With the coming of Spring, soon enough, I will be shedding my Winter Coat.

If you would seem how much hair gets sucked up in the vacuum, you would think I would have already lost my Winter Coat.

Yesterday, I had to be patient while Tonya had her pancakes.

I drooled.

I sat pretty.

I sat close.

Then I sat even closer.

I stared.

When she got up, I knew there was part of a pancake that was left on her plate.

Could she walk any slower to my food dish?

I was walking so close to her, I took her slipper off her foot.

I really couldn't wait for the pancakes to be dropped into my food dish.

I tried to take it off the plate as she was lowering it towards the food dish.

As she was straightening up, she looked down, into my food dish and the pancake was gone.

The Big Guy says that I eat like an alligator.

1/Mar/22 that popcorn is too far away

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Today is "Shrove".

It's the day before Ash Wednesday.

The Big Guy is supposed to make pancakes for breakfast.

I'm pretty sure the only way that I would get some pancakes, would be if Tonya will share her's.

Lately, I've been doing pretty good at getting Tonya to share.

The Big Guy made those Fat Archie cookies.  Not sure why they are called that, but they are just molasses cookies.

Tonya said that she could taste ginger in the cookies.

The Big Guy told her, that's because there is ginger in the cookie recipe.

It's rather cold outside right now.

This is rather subjective.  It's -14 here, but -21 at CFS Alert.  Normally it's a lot colder there.  They must be having a heat wave of some sort.

Well, time to see if I can't get the Big Guy in a weak moment and see if a piece of his pancake can't end up in my food dish.
