4/Oct/19 I don't need those glasses to look at the cell phone

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

I wonder if dog are ever diagnosed with being near sighted?  I mean we have a GREAT sense of smell.  We do tend to bark at anything that moves.

Talking of smelling.

The Big Guy is cooking again.

This time it's chicken.  Now, I'm allowed to have chicken.  But not the chicken bones.

Now, do you think that I'm going to be allowed to have any of the chicken that the Big Guy is cooking?

Not very likely.  They will say it's for their lunches and what not.  Which is very likely very true.

But a dog has got to eat as well.

I can't survive on Kibble and Water alone.

Just like, last night.  Tonya was having some wine.  The Big Guy was having some water.  She decides she wants a pickle sandwich.

The Big Guy was like: YUCK!

But I NEEDED to have what she was having.

She told me that I don't like pickles.  Which is true.  I've spit the pickles out in the past.  Not last night though.  I seen her eating them and I knew that I wanted them.

I ate a pickle.

It wasn't all that good.  But if Tonya eats pickles, then I eat pickles as well.

Lemons are for another day.

3/Oct/19 I will take those extra calories off your plate

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday was a very short blog.  Today, I will explain why.

So the Big Guy had to go see the Dr yesterday.  He needs a replacement CPAP.  But the Dr's office is on the 5th floor of the hospital.  So it was a bit of a walk.  Yes the Big Guy took the elevator.  But still, lots of walking.  Then he needed to get an XRay of his knee.

He hurt his knee about 2 months ago and it hasn't stopped hurting.  The lady in the XRay unit had him do some poses that would make a super model feel proud.

Then, he had a prescription to fill.  So off to Shoppers and a little bit more walking.

When he got home, he was in so much pain.  The pain came in waves and wouldn't stop.  Tonya was feeling really bad for the pain that he had to endure.  But he got thought it and is feeling a lot better this morning.

The Dr has given the Big Guy a prescription for Sexenda.  This is like insulin.  For diabetics, they take it in low dose.  For super morbidly obese people, they take it in higher doses and it promotes weight loss.

Do not wish the Big Guy luck.

He plans on loosing the weight.  Luck isn't going to have anything to do with him loosing the weight.  Luck is something that you need when your trying to win Lotto 649.

The Big Guy says that he wants to be able to dance "The Git Up" with Tonya.  Now THAT is something that you can wish him luck to do.

2/Oct/19 here is looking at you kid

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Short blog today.  The Big Guy is in a lot of pain today.  He has been favoring his left knee for close to 20 years.  Well he has damaged his right knee and had to walk around the hospital today.  Now he is paying for it.

 Will write more tomorrow.

1/Oct/19 my paws are more then 2 floor boards wide

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday, Tonya and the Big Guy had donairs.  Well, they were home made, so they were not the kind where the meat is spinning on a spit.  Still, it smelled so good.

Yes, you guessed it, I didn't get to have any as it has onions in it.

What it is with them and their onions?  If they would just make some without onions and add the onions later.  Then I could have some of the stuff they are having as well.

Then there is that Pecan Pie bar thing that the Big Guy made.

As he was testing a sample, of course I went over to investigate.

I couldn't smell onions.

Could I have some please?

Do you know what he did?

He stared at me as he was eating the bar.

Then he would take another bite and continue to stare at me.

Another bite and stare.

I gave up and went and laid down.

Try not to choke on your friggin treat.
