8/Mar/17 only a face a mother can love

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

No fence as of yet.  But they have a few things that they have to do.  Clean up poop alley before the fence guys get here.  Get an electrician to mark where the cable is.  Then wait for the weather to "get better".

Tonya made this pizza crust last night.  You should have seen the Big Guy.  You would have thought it was the first time he ever had pizza.  The pizza crust is called Fathead Pizza Crust.  Tonya said that it was expensive to make.  But if you consider how much it costs to get a pizza delivered, it was still cheaper to make.  But any ways, the Big Guy REALLY liked it.

The only mistake the Big Guy did, he cut it in 6 pieces.  He should have cut it in 8.  Or just cut it in 4 and it would be 1 slice per meal.  Oh well, he will know better for next time.

There is a lot of snow that is melting.  Soon enough, all the snow banks will be gone.  The Big Guy still hasn't found my dog tags. I lost them about a month ago.  That was one of the days that I popped my collar off my head.  They should be in the yard somewhere.  But so far, he hasn't found them.

I like going for drives.  The only problem, I can't get to the front seats any more.  The Big Guy put up this cage.  He likes that a lot as his car looks like it's a cop car.  This pleases him to no end.  I wonder if he continues to loose a lot of weight, will he go buy a yellow jacket with those reflective strips on it.  Then it would really look like a cop car.

Yesterday the Big Guy was down to 382 pounds.  This is a real milestone for him.  He isn't exercising and he is still loosing weight.  He said, when he gets to 375, he will start walking me again.  Tonya said they will have to get him some new sneakers.  He is happy to hear that.  He hasn't walked though his current ones, but they are looking pretty ratty.

Bye bye for now.

7/Mar/17 they only work when the weather is "better"

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

The Big Guy has a niece out there and she has said some bad things about he XBox One game system.  But that's OK, he has been getting his digs in about how all the other systems are inferior to his own game system.  He thinks that it's a big game to him.  There is also one of his daughter's friends, he has been saying bad stuff too.  He isn't done having fun with him either.  That guy REALLY hates XBox.

Tonya called the Fence Guy to tell him that they can install the new fence for me.  They said that they have to wait for the weather to "get better".  Don't they have jackets and gloves that they can wear?  Does it mean that they can't install the fence when it's raining outside?  The Big Guy has so little patience for this kind of stuff.

They are still looking for an electrician to locate and mark the ground for the buried electrical cable that runs to the garage.  That is their next barrier in this fence excursion.  The Fence Guy said to call him once the ground is marked.  But what if the weather isn't nice when the electrician finds the cable?  Does that mean that he can't do his job either?  I thought electricity worked all the time.  Even in bad weather.

It's been about 2 weeks since the Big Guy put some really hot sauce on the siding on the house.  I haven't been chewing on the siding since then.  The Big Guy is wondering if he will have to apply it again, or am I done eating the siding, and hand rails on the house.  It isn't like I don't have enough toys to play with.  I have chewed on the steps.  I have chewed the lattice that is under the deck.  I've removed a lot of wood that used to be out there.  I have been eye balling the wood pile that is at the back of the property.  Once the fence is up, I will have access to that wood pile.

Well, I better go bark at the wind.  Every so often, it will blow and move the branches on the trees.  I have to show it who is boss.

Bye bye for now.

6/Mar/17 got a new bone to chew on

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday the Big Guy took me shopping for new dog food.  I got to meet some very nice people that works in the store.  One of them tried to give me a salmon treat and I didn't want anything to do with it.  I never tried salmon, so I wasn't sure what it was.  BUT there was crumbs on the floor from where other doggies have been inside the store.  Now those were yummy!

One lady that was there, didn't know what kind of dog would wear these HUGE dog collars that they have in the store.  Well now she knows.  She said that my collar was so nice looking on me.  The other lady was amazed at the size of my paws.  She said that they are so...  BIG!

So I am no longer getting Royal Canin as my dog food.  Now I will be having "Nature's Harvest".  It a Canadian Made dog food, but I hear that it's recognized by European countries as being a superior dog food.  Did you want to get some of this food for your doggie?  See their web site: http://www.naturesharvest.ca/node/4

I got to have fun with Craig yesterday.  I don't see him that often.  That is Tonya's brother.  He is afraid of big dogs, but he said that he wasn't afraid of me.  He says that I have a friendly disposition.

I can't wait to be allowed to play in the back yard again.  Once the fence it up, I will have the entire yard to play in.

Soon enough, it's going to be spring and spring means mud.  Mud means PLAY TIME!!!  I don't think that Tonya remembers how muddy I got last year...

Normally my feet have white fur on them.  Not this time.

Fun times in the Maritimes...

Bye bye for now.

5/Mar/17 this is me being good

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

We have a guest that spent the night with us.  It is Craig.  That's Tonya's brother.  He tried to play with me to "wear me out".  Well guess what...  I am a puppy and you CAN'T wear me out.

Craig is scared of big dogs and I am a BIG dog.  But in the end, he was happy to play with me.  Of course I was really happy about that.

Yesterday the Big Guy moved the old fridge, all by himself, from the dining room to the garage.  They have to get a new cold control before they can use it again.  Otherwise, it just runs without getting anything cold.  Well, so far, it still makes stuff cold, but not as cold as it should.  Not too long before it's completely broken.

It's official.  The Big Guy did up their tax return yesterday and I am going to be getting a fence for the back yard.  They are going to be calling the company to install it.  Then it will be to wait and see how long it takes before it gets installed.  They are hoping, because it isn't spring yet, that it will be installed soon.  This means they will be using the front door a lot more.

So if you come for a visit, come to the front door.  There will be a gate, so you can still come to the back door it you like.  Just remember to close the gate so that I don't run free.

Did you know that the Big Guy is going to be turning 55 this Friday?  That's old.  I am not even 1 year old.  I will be 11 months old this Friday.  He has been looking up to see who offers Senior Discounts when he turns 55 and if there is a special day of the week that he will have to shop.

Seniors...  what can you do with them...  just love them I guess...

Bye bye for now.
