5/Aug/23 laying in the way

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

As you can see, I'm laying very close to Tonya's chair.

It is electronic.

I don't think it cares if I lay down and put my head under it or not.

When I hear the mechanism moving, I make sure to move myself.

Yesterday the Big Guy made this Chicken Biscuit Caserole.

Yup, onions are in it.

Always with the onions.

Oh, and some garlic as well.

He wanted to make some chicken broth with the bones.

So he put it on the boil and then watched a TV program.

It was almost boiled down to nothing by the time he remembered.

Then, the dirty bastard threw the bones and what not, out to the birds.

Yes, they had the bones and the skin.

I could of at least had the skin.

Tonya went out with Mylynne to a fashion show.

It was for charity.

They raise money for a woman's shelter.

The Big Guy seen an advertisement for a new F-150 Lightening.

This is a battery electric vehicle.

It was expensive.

$118.000.00

His current house didn't cost that much.

So, he can't get it.

Otherwise, he couldn't afford my kibble.

4/Aug/23 have to lay on the floor

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I've been told that I'm not allowed up on the sofa.

The love seat is out of bounds.

The new chair, if off limits.

What good is furniture if I'm not allowed up on it?

We sat outside for a bit last evening.

But the Big Guy was the one that got cold and wanted inside.

He made this new recipe called Buffalo Cauliflower.

Tonya said, he's allowed it make it again.

He didn't mind making it, but it was also a bit of a mess.

Tonya cleaned everything up though.

So the Big Guy was happy about that.

Normally he could clean as he goes.

But this was a new recipe.

I got to have a few pieces of the cauliflower.

But no buffalo sauce.

She said it was rather hot.

I would have tried it.

But in the end, nope.

Just the cauliflower.

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I was waiting for the Big Guy to come down stairs after he was done work.

There was an air current that was coming down the stairs.

It wasn't as hot as previous days.

I was able to lay on the floor, outside of the cold room for a bit.

We went outside after the Big Guy was done work.

That lasted about 20 minutes.

Tonya wanted to go inside.

Way too many mosquitoes.

Yes, they have bug spray.

But then they smell like bug spray and the sheets were just changed on the bed.

The mosquitoes can only bit my nose and the pads of my paws.

If they land on my fur, it is way too thick for them to bite me.

Are they really biting though?

Or are they just stabbing?

The Big Guy looked it up for me.

It's a stab.

Just feels like they are biting.

This is a round the world thing.

Not just a 1st world problem.

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

We got a little bit of rain yesterday.

There is a little bit of rain in today's forecast too.

Not a lot of rain mind you.

Certainly not the amount of rain that got on the mainland last week.

Some places got 300+ mm or rain.  

That's around 12 inches of rain.

It was just too much rain, all at once.

There is a lot of washed out roads.

But, hurricane season is going to be starting.

How much damage will be done this year?

Will they have another Hurricane Fiona?

Or worst?

Will it hit Cape Breton, like it did last year?

The Big Guy is mostly thinking about the snow though.

There was a Winter a few years ago.

He only needed to snow blow, twice, that season.

He loved that amount of snow.

More like the lack of snow.

Weirdo.
