1/Aug/23 new furniture

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

They got new furniture.

Every time I go near it, Tonya says, no.

It doesn't even look comfortable.

All the bumps.

Only made for human bums.

Plus they recline.

Lot of good that does for me.

Not sure what the Big Guy would do in the event of a power outage.

He normally spends his time, sitting up.

He would have to know there is a storm coming.

Then, extend the recliner.

Power goes out and he would have to scoot over onto the extended recliner.

Then scoot over to get out.

Dumb design if you ask me.

He was looking online and said, he knows they can get a battery back up.

That way, he could recline and fold up the chair when he's done.

He also said, not a priority right now.

He says that while they got power.

1st world problems.

They are real to him.

31/Jul/23 couldn't have supper

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday the Big Guy made beef stroganoff.

You guessed it.

Both garlic, and onions.

Smelled pretty good too.

He got to use his new favorite pan.

I wonder just how long it will stay non-stick?

But if he takes care of it and doesn't use metal stuff in it, it should last.

It wasn't so unbearably hot yesterday.

The Grand kids came by.

Thankfully they didn't eat everything that was put on their plates.

I got some sausage, bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs and toast.

Yup, biggie breakfast.

No ketchup.

That's what Tonya puts on her stuff.

I don't mind it.

They bought some blue garbage bags from Amazon.

The Big Guy checked out the price and they saved about $2.00.

All that for something they are just going to throw out anyways.

30/Jul/23 nap attack

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I've noticed that Tonya is getting after me for getting close to the new furniture.

So far, I've no desire to get up on it.

It only looks comfortable for a human bum.

Not my stretched out body.

Curling into a little ball, that is a thing of the past.

I prefer to lay out now.

The floor is also much cooler.

What ever eye infection I had, is gone.

They have also stopped with the drops they were putting in my eyes.

I would blink to make sure it was hard for them to put the drops in my eyes.

Then I would shake my head to get any excessive drops away from my face.

I wonder what sort of culinary delights the Big Guy got in store for today.

Will their be onions?

Will their be garlic?

Going to say, oh yea, there will be.

These are his go to spices and add ons.

Would be really nice to get a steak.

Even a hot dog.

BBQ if you please.

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Every so often, when I'm outside, I will paw at the ground.

It exposes and cool dirt.

Then, I lay on that colder dirt.

Tonya gets upset as I bring that dirt into the house.

But a dog has to cool off somehow.

I don't much like water.

Although I do love snow.

Which is pretty much frozen water crystals.

The key component, frozen.

The Big Guy's left ankle has been sore for the last few days.

He isn't sure what he would of done to it.

The Big Guy also found out, he can make mixed berry compote.

Not something he realized till yesterday when he was watching YouTube videos.

Although the recipe if fairly easy and makes little mess.

You also have to be able to store it.

He doesn't believe you can make large batches.

Or, if you did, will it freeze well.

I'm pretty sure I could have some of that.

No onions.

No garlic.

Just berries, sugar, water, cornstarch and some lemon juice.
