21/Jul/23 living room furniture gone

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I've been spending a lot of time in the cold room.

So much so, that life is moving on without me noticing.

Yesterday morning, there was furniture in the living room.

Yesterday afternoon, I came downstairs and the furniture was on it's side and the legs were off.

Then, I came downstairs again, and the furniture was gone.

Tonya is sitting over to the side in a wing chair.

The Big Guy is sitting on a computer chair that my Memere gave him.

I wonder if they are going to get new furniture?

Or are they going thru a minimalist phase?

I can never tell with them.

The Big Guy made taco spaghetti yesterday.

Not that it did me much good.

There was spicy sausages and onions and garlic and other spices.

All stuff that is bad for me.

The broiler on his oven is working once again.

Which makes the Big Guy super happy.

Last week, it wasn't working.

He probably pressed the wrong buttongs.

Dumb human.

20/Jul/23 gotta pee

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Those darn stairs.

I really want to be in the cold room.

But there is all those stairs to negotiate.

All the windows on the main floor doesn't open.

I'm hoping today, the temperature will be down a bit so that I can hang out on the main floor.

What am I talking about...

As long as the Air Conditioner is running, I want in that cold room.

I much prefer the cold.

With all this heat, you would think the Big Guy is in his glory.

Turns out, he is.

He said that he has to go get some Gorilla Glue today.

He wears a CPAP mask and part of it has come apart.

He glued it in the past and it worked just fine.

But the glue is old.

He only needs a few drops.

He is also fishing to get some new caps for the soda stream bottles.

The Big Guy just looked at the Canadian Tire website.

They used to sell them.

Guess they don't any longer.

But, he seen they are available on Amazon.

He just checked, and for the price of 2 new caps, he could get 3 new bottles.

I think I know what is going to happen.

19/Jul/23 when will it be cold

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I really like to have an un-obstructed view of the road.

I appreciate it when the Big Guy cuts down the little trees and bushes that are near that part of the back deck.

Then, when people walk by with their dogs, I can announce that I live here.

Although with it being so warm...

I've given them a pass.

Yesterday, the Big Guy had to get a new headset from work.

People weren't able to hear him on the headset he was using.

So, while he was waiting, he was able to play on his XBox.

He also made a batch of oatmeal and raisin cookies.

He uses 2 cookies as a meal replacement.

It must be working, as he is still loosing weight.

Eventually they reached out to him and he got to finish his shift.

We sat outside for a bit.

The temp was at 24.

But there was a breeze and the Big Guy didn't have his shirt or shoes on.

He felt cold.

Can you imagine that?

Cold at 24.

When we came inside, I insisted to go upstairs to the cold room.

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I really prefer hanging out in the cold room all day.

The Big Guy just asked his DOT, temp in the living room.

It's 25.3 C, but feels really warm due to the high humidity.

Now, the bedroom, it's 20.5 C, but feels cooler due to the low humidity in that room.

Plus the fact there is fans blowing the cooler air around the bedroom.

Don't know the temp in the kitchen as the hockey puck type DOT doesn't have a setting to know the temperature.

We are due to get some rain this Friday.

That may cool off the temperature outside.

But, there is one person that doesn't seem to be too upset with the outside temperature.

Can you guess who?

Yea...

That weirdo...

He is all happy when it's warm outside.

He could be sweating profusely and he isn't bitching about being warm at all.

Yes, I'm talking about you, Mr Oddball Big Guy and loving the heat type guy.

I wonder what else Tonya is going to make that I can have today?

Yesterday, she made Kraft Dinner.  

I got to have some.

Yummy.

No onions, garlic or anything like that.
