Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Although I know the Big Guy will not feed me what he is eating, it doesn't mean I will not stare at him while he is eating.

I heard the grand kids are going to be dropping by today.

I will have to wait for them to go play so that I can have what they aren't eating.

Tonya always makes WAY too much for their visit.

I get lots of their food.

The Big Guy had seen there was a truck over at Plaza Ford.

It's really big and seats 7 people.

It is the Platinum Max edition of the Expedition.

It also has a Max edition of the price too.

Tonya said, they would only get it if they win the lotto.

But the Big Guy was bitchin that it's gas powered.

He says, his next car or truck, is going to be battery powered.

How he goes on about battery powered vehicles.

Tonya went to visit her older brother Terry in the hospital.

He is swearing a lot.

He doesn't want to be in the hospital.

But so far, he can't come home.

I wonder if I could go visit with him?

20/May/23 back deck is painted

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Big Guy was out painting the back entrance deck to the house.

It hasn't been painted in a long time.

You do need to paint to make sure that your wood is preserved.

It hasn't been painted since I moved in.

That is a long time to go between paint jobs.

The only deck he has to paint now, is the bigger back deck.

He also needs to paint the spindles.

A lot of the spindles needs to be replaced.

When I was a puppy, I used to chew on a lot of the spindles.

I didn't chew right through them, but there is a lot of ruined spindles.

The Big Guy says, that's a job for another day.

I think he means after I'm gone over the rainbow bridge.

It is supposed to rain the next few days.

That means no outside work for the Big Guy.

This doesn't upset him very much.

The Big Guy was saying he has to wait for the wax to come off the car before he can put the ceramic wax he purchased from Turtle Wax.  It just sprays on and wipes off.  It does say to put 2 coats.

But you have to wait for 2 days of good weather to do that.

So many rules these applications needs.

Hard to get several days of good weather back to back.

19/May/23 tuckered after our walk

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Got my two walks in yesterday.

When I left the house for the second walk, the car was in the driveway.

It was just detailed.

That means clean and shiny.

All waxed up.

I could see a dog looking back at me.

I ran up to the car.

I stared at the dog that was staring right back at me.

Tonya was yelling at me, it's your reflection.

I barked at the dog.

It looked like the other dog barked back at me.

So, I bonked the dog with my nose.

Oh...

I get it...

So that is what reflection means.

Tonya has one tulip that is growing in her flower bed.

FYI, she no longer has a tulip.

I ate the top right off the flower.

There was yelling.

Look, if it makes you feel any better, it didn't taste too good.

18/May/23 just hanging out

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Tonya brought me around the block for my walk.

She said that I walked really good.

It was mostly that I wasn't dicking around the smelling every blade of grass on our walk.

Tomorrow is garbage day.

People tend to put their garbage out the night before.

So, I will have the opportunity to sniff some garbage on tonight's walk.

The car has gone off to be detailed.

Something that the Big Guy would have done this year.

That was on his list of stuff to get done.

Tonya got the car detailed for a Father's Day gift for the Big Guy.

I wonder how long it will be before the people that Tonya drives around will get the car all dirty again?

The amount of canvas grocery bags that are in the car is astounding.

The Big Guy didn't count.

But he would say, well over 50 bags.

Well, I better bark to let Tonya know, it's time to get up and go for our morning walk.

There are blades of grass that need sniffing and poles and trees that need to be peed on.
