21/Mar/23 are you sure you want that

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday the Big Guy replaced the cartridge that is on the sink taps.

That meant isolating the water supply.  Not a terrible job, but it has to get done by going to the basement.

The Big Guy must have gone to the basement, about six times.

At one point, he put the cartridge in backwards.

But he didn't curse or anything like that.

He tried to follow the instructions.

But they weren't all that clear.

He got it incorrect.  Hot water was on the incorrect side.

Shit.

Back to the basement to isolate the water again.

He took the entire taps apart again, reversed the cartridge and put everything back together in what seemed record time.

He was getting really good at it.

Once he had everything put together, it was time for Tonya to get off work.

He was supposed to make a turkey pie.  Well that didn't work out.

He put a frozen pizza in the oven.

I wanted some.

He stared at me as he ate.

I tried to drool.

I even tried putting my mussel on his chest.

He put the last of the pizza crust into his mouth and told me, quietly, no.

I went and laid down out of discus.

He knows he is on Weight Watchers.

He didn't need that pizza crust.

20/Mar/23 they ate at the table

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, we had a lot of people over.

It was Clarke's 43rd Birthday.

He was very happy that we did celebrate his birthday.

The Big Guy thought it was just a Sunday and that everyone was dropping by.

For some reason, he also thought Clarke was turning 49.

Tonya corrected him.

We got a slow leak above the kitchen.

The Big Guy isn't sure where it's coming from.

When he looks around, he can't see any visual areas where the water would be coming from.

But, just can't you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't leaking.

Cause it is.

Tonya starts her new work hours today.

Now she works from 10:30 in the morning, till 7:00 at night.  Monday to Friday.

The Big Guy will be making supper from now on.

Which is fine by him.

Yesterday, I had to wait for everyone to be finished their meals before stuff would be placed in my food bowl.

Aurora had some peeled apples.

She would hold them out to me and then drop them on the floor.

Sigh...

I ate the apples from the floor.

19/Mar/23 I will drool while you eat

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I don't think you even need to zoom in while you are looking at this picture.

You can see the drools coming from my mouth.

By the time Tonya has finished her supper, her knee is rather wet.

She will yell a few times for me to get away, or to go lay down.

I've tried this with the Big Guy.

It doesn't work.

Staring and getting really close, tried that.

Nope.

The only person it seems to work on is Tonya.

She says that it's not nice while I stare as she eats.

But it doesn't hurt me to stare.

So...

I stare.

I drool.

I put my head on her lap.

I give the big eyes.

Human food is just so delicious.

A dog can't live on kibble alone.

Then, Tonya wonders why my farts are so stinky.

Same with my breath.

Human food will do that.

Kibble doesn't.

18/Mar/23 resting after my walk

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

When we went for our walk yesterday, I ran into 3 other dogs.

Well, 2 of them, they were across the street.

They barked at me.

The other one, snuck up on the Big Guy.

It was very small.

He was picking up my poo.

When he stood up, there the little dog was.

The Little Dog was very brave and wanted a piece of me.

His fur was all puffed up.

Well, what fur I could see.

His owner had him in a little jacket.

The Big Guy pulled on my leash and told me to "leave it".

Which I know his is command for don't screw with this.

Tonya would have told me not to hurt the baby.

Talking of babies.

I wonder if they are going to drop by tomorrow?

The Big Guy made Hawaiian Pizza for supper.

He used the 2 ingredient dough from Weight Watchers.

I only got a wee bit of the crust from Tonya's pizza.

Certainly isn't the Big Guy's regular pizza dough.
