21/Jan/23 I got to have some soup

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, Tonya wanted the Big Guy to make some chicken noodle soup.

He did.

There was all kinds of good stuff in it.

Tonya poured off a bowl and put it in the fridge for me.

She put it in my food dish along with some fresh kibble.

It was so good.

The Big Guy felt like something was missing.

He didn't have his crackers.

Perhaps that is what was missing.

I'm not sure what they plan to make today, but hopefully, I will be able to mooch some of it from Tonya.

We had a snow fall warning.

But we really didn't get all that much snow.

Only 11 cm according to Environment Canada.

Now, Monday, there is rain in the forecast.

Up to 30 mm of rain.

I don't think that snow is going to last.

So, those people that like snow, they better go do what ever it is that floats their boat.

The snow isn't really going to last.

20/Jan/23 I'm as big as the love seat

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yes, I know it's an optical illusion, but it does look like I'm as big as the love seat.

Last night, the Big Guy made a cheese burger pizza.

He said he should of made donairs.

The cheddar cheese was very greasy.

Today, he may just take off the toppings and feed the grease soaked flat bread to the sea gulls.

Obviously not me.

I don't need the grease either.

We got a snow fall warning today.

The snow fall warning is for up to 20 cm of snow.

The forecast has 5 to 10 cm of snow.

Then, next week, on Monday and Thursday, it has rainfall warnings.

The people that love to ski and go snowmobiling, better get out right away.

The Big Guy put a garbage bag to the curb yesterday.

The garbage bag is about to burst.  It has about 25 pounds of my poo in it.

If the garbage people are not careful, it will spill all over the road.

What a mess that will make.

Not sure why they waited so long to put my poo to the curb.

The Big Guy wanted to use my poo to fill in the hole where the tree stump used to be.

It would be over flowing if he was allowed to do that.

It would be a lot cheaper than going to the store and buying bags of dirt.

Tonya said no.

19/Jan/23 this unit blows warm air

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

We might be getting some snow tomorrow.

Only 5 to 10 cm of snow.

But 10 cm of snow is more than enough for the Big Guy to get out his snow blower.

Having said that.

Next Monday, rain.

Followed by...

More rain.

Those folks that own snow mobiles and want to go skiing, will have Saturday and Sunday to enjoy it.

The Big Guy used to enjoy snow as a kid.

BUT, he also didn't have to shovel it.

I guess over the years, snow is no longer a joyful thing for him.

He does say, if it were only a few cm, to make things white and clean, that wouldn't be so bad.

But the shoveling is a pain in the ass.

Tonya said she has been eating way too much chicken.

She wants beef.

So, today, the Big Guy is going to be making stuff for her with beef.

He is thinking, donairs.

Or humdinger burgers.

He can't decide.

Either way, both have onions and I can't have them.

Crap...

18/Jan/23 my battery is fully charged

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, Tonya made some roast veggies with chicken.

There was butternut squash, cauliflower, and broccoli.

I'm sure if the Big Guy would have added stuff like onions, celery, potatoes and carrots.

Tonya made sure that I got some of the veggies.

I was so happy about that.

Although for the price of the squash, the Big Guy wonders if they got that in the frozen food section of the grocery store.

They were also looking at this butternut squash lasagna recipe.

Tonya wants the Big Guy to make that.

Thankfully, he got a food processor which will make it easy to make squash slices.

We have been having weird weather this January.

Yesterday, it was almost 10 C at the airport where they take the weather readings.

Normally, it's supposed to be -2 C this time of year.

It was almost "sitting out" weather.

Tonya is getting over her cold that she got this past week.

So far, the Big Guy doesn't have it.

He's pretty happy that he doesn't have this cold.

He doesn't want to get her cold either.

But, if he does get the cold, he will hide under a blanket, well, several blankets to sweat out the cold.

Then he would moan an groan and tell everyone, he got a "man cold" and that they have to pity him.

Human males are pretty fragile.
