21/Dec/22 your parcel is being delivered

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I do love being able to look outside the windows.

I look for other dogs that are walking on the sidewalk across the street.

That friggin Echo Dot hears me barking and tells me not to bark.

Then it plays a series of dog whistles at me.

As if the Big Guy didn't enjoy the Echo Dot enough, he is getting a smaller version for the kitchen.

I guess that means, he will be able to move the radio that he has in the kitchen, out to the garage.

They have a few jars with spices in them, on that part of the counter, along with the toaster.

BUT, he thinks he will put his Echo Dot mini over by the fridge.

This will allow him to listen to some music while he is cooking.

I guess you can also listen to podcasts.

He has tried to listen to some and promptly got bored with them.

Perhaps he was listening to the wrong one.

Yesterday, the Big Guy went to the pharmacy.  He got his Covid booster and his Flu shot.  He is rather pleased with himself.  He didn't have any reaction to either shot.

I think that Tonya should get a distemper shot next time she goes to the Dr.

She really isn't a morning person.

I'm so happy to see her, but she lets her temper get the best of her.

So, if she got a distemper shot, would that make her a morning person?

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So, now I've got two people working from home.

The Big Guy looks out the back windows and Tonya looks out the front windows.

Yesterday, I bugged Tonya a few times while she was at work.

I wanted outside.

I didn't bug the Big Guy, cause, well, he's the Big Guy.

If I want something, I default to Tonya.

She gets upset and tells me that he's my daddy.

Yea, but your my mommy and mommies take care of their babies.

I'm always afraid, I'm going to get eye balled and the Big Guy will eat me.

The Big Guy is going to go get his Flu Shot today, along with his Covid Booster.

Some people have bitched and moaned about some side effects.

The Big Guy has been pretty good about not having any side effects.

Talking of eating.

I wonder what the Big Guy is going to be making today, now that he is off.

As unusual, I suspect it will be something that smells wonder, but that I can't have.

Which is very typical of him.

But then, there is Tonya, who says, a little will not hurt me.

I've got the runs that proves otherwise.

But I so much love human food.  Even if it's bad for me.

19/Dec/22 I really like shoes

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

When I get excited, I find the closest shoe and will run around with it in my mouth.

Slippers are OK for that task.

This will create some yelling.

Normally, it's PUT THAT DOWN and stuff.

When the Big Guy says: Drop that!

That's normally what I will do.

He isn't screwing around when he says that.

Yesterday the Big Guy made this loaded potato soup.

The "loaded" part means there is bacon.

Of course, there was an entire onion in the soup.

Then the one item that meant I wasn't getting any.

Cayenne pepper.

He put more than the required amount by the recipe.

Tonya said, the soup had some kick to it.

The Big Guy watches this program called, Curse of Oak Island.

It's been on for 10 seasons.

Now, I have to wonder, who is paying for this?

Is it the 2 brothers that are on this show?

Or, is it the History Channel?

Someone isn't getting their money's worth cause they still haven't found the gold.

18/Dec/22 I am so happy I could fart

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So you see that tree that's behind me?

Well, it's different now.

Now, it's full of decorations.

Yesterday, Clarke came by and he, along with Tonya, took the time to put up the decorations on the tree.

Years past, there would be these icicle garlands on the tree.

Now, none of that.

What replaced it, was ribbons.

I was told, I'm not allowed to go near the tree.

Right...

We will see about that.

But, honestly, why would I?

It's not like they hung dog bones in the tree.

No kibble under the tree.

What's my motivation?

But, a week from today, and it will be Christmas Day.

The family will be dropping by.

I will have to see what food I can mooch off them.

At least get some left overs from the table put into my food dish.
