20/Nov/22 what are you getting from the kitchen

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Do you know what Mini Babybel is?

I know they just by their shape.

When Tonya brings one out, cause she is looking for a snack, she normally brings one for me too.

I don't have a great sense of share.

I want them both.

When Tonya gives one of them to the Big Guy, I know it's a lost cause.

He will stare right into my eyes.

He will whisper, no.

But every so often, he will have a weak moment.

So, I will often try to see what it is he has, just incase the moment is happening.

I heard, in Buffalo New York, they got over 4 feet of snow.

That is even too much for me.

I don't mind a few centimeters of snow.

I don't even mind the extra cold.

But 121 cm...  yea, that's too much.

I am not sure what Christmas Decoration the Big Guy plans to bring down from the attic.

They were talking about a second tree.

As if one isn't enough.

19/Nov/22 when will it snow

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

My human friends that lives down the road, they were going to sell, and now they are not.

They have to be able to find a new house before they sell.

Yesterday the Big Guy was putting up some more of the Christmas Decorations.

He kept telling me to move.  That I was in the way.

Well, I wanted to see what he was up to.

The only way to do that, is to be close to what he is doing.

The Big Guy also made some eggs, fried balogna and some hash browns.

I couldn't believe it.

Tonya ate them all.

She did say, it was the proper portion though.

Yesterday, while she was out, running people around, she eventually came home.

She had bought the Big Guy a special treat.

A&K chicken.

A lot of people only know of KFC.

But this A&K is a special restaurant in Cape Breton.

It is a VERY busy place.

A lot of times, Tonya will give me the skin from her chicken piece.

Yesterday, she said that she was very hungry and didn't share any of her supper.

Not even the fries.

18/Nov/22 I am not moving

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

There are days, when the Big Guy sits in the "library" part of the house and he plays his game.

I will lay on the floor next to him.

He will reach out, with his foot.

You can see his foot touching my back in the picture above.

I am too heavy to move.

If I don't want to be moved.

In that picture, moving wasn't part of the plan.

You can't see it in the picture, but the sun was shining in from the nook.

It was warm on that part of the floor.

Yup, not every day that I want to lay on the cool floor.

Talking of cool.

It's been getting colder out.

Pretty sure, last weekend, the Big Guy and Tonya were sitting outside without a jacket.

They wouldn't be doing that now.

Well, they COULD.

But they wouldn't last very long.

Now, myself.

I can lay out for hours.

But I don't.

I miss my humans.

So I always want back inside.

17/Nov/22 I'm used to the time change now

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Before, when there was a time, just before sun set, I knew that Tonya would come home from work.

Now, I have to wait a long time before it's time for Tonya to come through the door.

The Big Guy remembers when his brother was being put to bed.

It was Summer time.

The Sun hadn't set yet.

His brother said, it's not fair.

He has to go to bed and the Sun is still up.

Now that he is older, I wonder if he still cares if he goes to bed and the Sun is still up.

The Big Guy was watching the news.

Parts of Cape Breton will be getting some snow.

Not the part we live in.

The Big Guy was talking with his Mum.

She was sending pictures of the snow they got.

One of the Big Guy's bosses says she doesn't decorate for Christmas until the first snow.

She lives in Cap-Pele New Brunswick.

Well, she got snow yesterday.

She was rather excited.

I know the feeling.

I love snow.

Can't wait.
