20/May/22 I have a visitor

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Although you can't see her in this picture, Kim also came for a visit with my Memere.

Kim isn't doing so well.

She had an operation.

She also has cancer.

At one time, if you were told that you had cancer, that was pretty much the end.

Now, they try to target the cancer with this item call Chemo Therapy.

Of course, she is scared.

Anyone would be scared.

Of course, I'm wishing her well.

I know you will too.

Last night, everyone had some pizza for supper.

I got to have some of the crust.

I even got some from the Big Guy.

Not very often that this would happen.

But he was feelign generous.

I hope he can feel more generous.

It's supposed to be nice the next few days.

Like everything else in life, I guess we will see.

19/May/22 going to be in the way

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I rather like being in the way.

I get noticed that way.

The Big Guy put a new video card in his computer.   Now the display is a bit wrong for him.  By that, I mean is computer displays circles as ovals.

To say the least, he isn't too jazzed about it.

But he thinks he will live with it for the moment.

His computer isn't going to run his life.

Tonya wants the heat turned off on the house.

Oil is really expensive.

It's over $2.00 a litre for home heating oil.

A lot of people are finding it hard.

Same with the price of gas.

It has also increased in price.

Of course people are saying that it's the government's fault.

Yes, the do tax gas.

But they also want their roads fixed.

They just can't have it both ways.

People can be dumb.

18/May/22 gravy on my kibbles

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, Tonya made a roast beef.

She also made what she calls, rainbow potatoes.

In addition to that, she also made some gravy.

Guess who had some gravy added to their kibbles?

If you guessed, me, you would be right.

In a word...

It was...

FANTASTIC!

I loved it.

I licked and licked and licked my food dish.

I wanted to make sure that I got every lick of gravy that was in my bowl.

Tonya was cutting up the meat to put it away.

She "accidently" dropped a piece of roast on the kitchen floor.

Accident or not, there was no way she was going to get it before I did.

I made it disappear.

POOF!

Gone.

17/May/22 my toy is taking a break

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Tonya got me some new kibble yesterday.

She didn't send the Big Guy for his elderly person discount.

He only got 10% off the purchase.

Not a whole lot, but enough.

I don't get dog discounts.

Just like, Tonya keeps saying that she isn't going to feed me any more human food.

I only need to stare at her while she eats and I get what ever is on her plate.

Even if it isn't any good for me.

She can be a bit of a push over when it comes to that.

The Big Guy...  sigh...  Very rarely will he ever walk over to my food dish and put something in it.

Last night, they had some breakfast, for their supper.

I love fried eggs.

Tonya made me one so that I wouldn't beg.

Pfft

As if I wouldn't beg...

Yea, she gave me some of hers.
