18/Dec/21 I've got an itch in my tail

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Do you see the ornament that is in the Christmas Tree?

The Big Guy got that from work.

So far, it's the only ornament that is on the tree.

The Big Guy puts the tree up each year.

Since the tree already has lights in it, he doesn't have to worry about that.

Then, Tonya decorates the tree.

Of course, she really can't reach the top of the tree.  

So she will get the Big Guy to put stuff at the top.

With the Covid and such, everyone is sort of depressed.  

At least a little bit more than usual.

The weather outside isn't all that cold.

Not warm either.

So far, no snow survived the warmer weather and the fog and rain.

Of course, the Big Guy is rather pleased about that.

Now snow at all wouldn't effect him in the least.

He's just a big weirdo.

17/Dec/21 I am waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Some days, I will lay, right across the bottom step.

There is no way, you can get past me.

The Big Guy will just step over me.

Tonya will get all excited and will raise her voice, trying to encourage me to move.

When the Big Guy steps over me, instinct kicks in.

I move.

I am afraid that he would step on me.

I might be big, but I'm not so big that being stepped on by the Big Guy would certainly hurt me.

The snow that we got the other day.

Well it's gone.

The little snow that is left, which used to be snow banks.  Is down to little snow drifts.

I am sure that Winter will bring more snow.

That we can be sure of.

The snow hasn't seen the last of us just yet.

Global Warming hasn't raised the temperature that much just yet.

16/Dec/21 my toy is right there, so near, yet so far away

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Big Guy got up early today.

He woke up and was remembering something that he was supposed to do.

He laid there in bed.

He knew he would remember.

He thought about it.

Over and over.

After about an hour, he got up and did it.

Now, he's awake and can't get back to sleep.

I know, he's going to go down stairs.

He will make breakfast and put the coffee on.

He will turn on the TV and promptly fall asleep.

The Big Guy is like that before he will be going on a trip the next day.

He will get a really crappy night's sleep as he knows that they will be "on the road", after Tonya gets up.

He's got problems.

I'm sure there is a name for it, and I'm sure it's hard to pronounce.

I love my naps.

The Big Guy does too!!

He will put on shows, on the TV, that he KNOWS he is going to nap to.

There is this one guy on YouTube.

Bob Ross.

He paints.

He talks about happy accidents.  

How there is a happy squirrel living in this tree.

I've watched him painting, and I have never seen a squirrel in any of the trees that he is painting.

He also talks about happy trees.

Do trees have emotions?

I've peed on more than a few.

The Big Guy got this stupid saying.

It's better to be pissed off than pissed on.  If someone were to piss on you, you would be pretty pissed off.

He's just a weirdo.
