19/May/21 could you check the hot dog maker and see if it still works

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

We haven't had hot dogs in forever.

I wonder if the hot dog maker, that sits on the back deck, is broken?

It looks like it's in good shape.

How do I tell Tonya or the Big Guy that we should have hot dogs?

When ever they have hot dogs, I get one from the Big Guy.  He has a soft heart when it comes to me and hot dogs.

Then, he will cook it up on the hot dog maker and Tonya will put one aside to cool.  She cuts it up for me and puts it in my bowl.

BUT, I also get to have one from Tonya's plate.

I just stare and stare at her while she is eating her hot dog.  She is weak.

I wonder if the lack of hot dogs and my new kibble for fat dogs are related?

Do you think that the hot dog maker is just fine and they have been avoiding making hot dogs so that they don't have to feed me any?

No, that couldn't be.

18/May/21 why do you have a coffee table

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I'm not sure whey they got the coffee table in the living room.

Everything that gets put on the table will eventually get swished off the table by my tail.

Don't even think about putting something on that table that is breakable.  Cause it will be.

Humans smile.

Dogs wag their tails.

The Big Guy is complaining about dry eyes and being stuffed up.

I think it's the pollen in the air.

I know his mum, she got pollen allergies quite bad.  Every year, well, Spring, she would sneeze and have a hard time dealing with all the pollen in the air.

There is this tree that is in their back yard.

It drops it's seed pods every year.

It makes a mess of his car.

He swears he is going to cut that tree down.

There is only 3 trees on his property that are causing him concern.  The one in the back yard, next to the back mud room.  The one in the front by his driveway.  Then the one in the front yard, at the opsite side of the front yard.  But it's not doing much of anything.  So far, it's still safe.  For now.

17/May/21 she gets angry when I mess with her angry bird slippers

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I seen Tonya and the Big Guy leave the house yesterday.  I thought it was time for them to start working outside of the house again.

Turns out, they just went for a drive.

I got a treat when they got home.

Not the big Milk Bones that Tonya will sometimes purchase, but these wee little bones.  I can pretty much swallow these treats whole.

The Big Guy said that the big treats are fine, but to break them in 1/2.

Tonya finally agreed and said that the smaller treats were better for me.  Smaller and I would have 2 and she wouldn't feel guilty.

BUT...

Do you think I get 2 treats?  

No.

I only get 1.

I'm getting ripped off.

16/May/21 yup, the grass is growing

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

There is this new thing that the Big Guy is doing.

No Mow May.

Tonya said to the Big Guy that it was unsual that he hasn't been out mowing the lawn.  But he said that it's a new thing that people are doing.

The Bees need pollen.

There is dandelions growing in the grass.  For a lot of people that would really piss them off.

The Big Guy wouldn't have been all that pleased either at one point.

But they only have a short growing season.

So, the Bees are having a hard time and are dying a lot and no one knows why.

Now, if wasps needed dandelions, I'm sure EVERYONE would kill those weeds.

I'm not sure what purpose a wasp has.  Just like mosquitoes.  Not sure what purpose they have either.

The Big Guy looked it up for me.  I guess the wasp kills a lot of pests for farmers.  Without the wasp, their fields would be overrun with flies, caterpillars and beetle larvae.

Sill, they do seem like an "asshole" insect and pretty much sting everyone.

Yesterday, the Big Guy stepped on a wasp that was on the front deck.  Tonya didn't want the wasp to sting me.  After the Big Guy crushed the wasp under is slipper, he pushed the wasp around so that it fell through the deck boards.
