I know I've got an addiction.

Not just food.

I love toilet paper.

There, I've said it.

I've eaten an entire roll of toilet paper once.

I don't mean, I just ripped it up, like some cat would do.

I swallowed it.

The Big Guy was pretty impressed when he was cleaning up my poop.  Through out the poop, was the toilet paper that passed through me.

The poop was also about as hard as a rock.

It was bitching to move out of my bowels.

Still doesn't stop me from eating it though.

Is your Christmas tree up?

It would seem for the most part, everyone has their Christmas tree up by now.

When the Big Guy lived in Winnipeg.  The people that lived next door, would put their tree up on Christmas eve.  Then it would come down and be put away on Boxing Day.  That was their family tradition.

The Big Guy's sister-in-law, she will purchase her tree.  She gets a real one every year.

She will put it up.  She will water it and tend to it.

But then she waits for her son to come home and he decorates the tree.  So far, he has never missed a year.  But this year, with the Covid restrictions, he isn't sure that he will be able to make it down.

Tonya told the Big Guy last evening, to make sure that the Christmas tree ornaments gets brought downstairs.

They have an artificial tree, that's pre-lit.  The Big Guy rather likes it.  Although it is not as wide as some trees he has seen.

His one next door neighbor, her tree is really wide.  She also has something like 4000 ornaments in her tree.  It takes her a week to decorate her tree.

I tried.

OMG, did I ever try...

Nothing worked.

Tonya made some of that frozen oven pizza thing that you will get from the store.  Takes about 25 minutes to cook.  Rises in the oven while cooking.

Then you could smell the cheese.  The pepperoni.  The sausage.

Oh, devine.

Of course Tonya gave me some of her crust.

Yes, I snapped and got her fingers.  She made me wait and I didn't have the patience.

There was quite a bit of drool on the floor.

Then I went over to the Big Guy.

I may have well tried getting blood from a stone.  Just wasn't happening.

I hope he stubs his toe on something while he walks around in the dark.

15/Dec/20 is any of those fried potatoes for me

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday, the Big Guy made some cast iron fried potatoes.

I will say this.  When the Big Guy is cooking, you know that the house smells wonderful

But, of course, there was onions in the recipe.

So, of course this leaves me out.

He also made fried chicken.

Tonya gave me the skin off her chicken.  So at least I got something out of it.

Oh, and was the Big Guy ever upset.  He was looking for his potatoe peeler.  Tonya had moved it.

Now, the Big Guy swears, some day, if ever he gets enough money.  There will be a house made with two kitchens in it.

One that Tonya can use to her hearts delight.  

Then there will be the Big Guy's kitchen.  She will not be allow to "borrow" anything from his kitchen.  That way, he knows exactly where all the stuff is.
