19/Feb/20 don't you think you got enough pictures of me

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I know that I've commented on this before.

Everyday, the Big Guy gets up early.  He puts on the coffee.  There are only the lights on in the kitchen.  Otherwise, the house stays dark.  He wanders around doing stuff.

Then, I can hear him creeping up towards me.  Trying to find me.

Then...

Without warning...

FLASH!

He takes that picture of me.

Each and every day.  It's a new picture.  Honestly, he could wait for the sun to come up and then take the pictures.

Oh well, he is going to do what he is going to do.  He can be funny like that.  He gets something into his head and it hard to change his mind.

It's snowing out right now.  But within the next few hours, it is going to change to rain.  So the Big Guy is going to be going outside to start snow blowing the snow.  He doesn't want to get "caught" with the snow changing to slush.  That stuff plugs up his snow blower and sorta pissed him off.

Then it's supposed to rain for the remainder of the day.

18/Feb/20 see, you could make me BIGGER treats

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

For some reason, the Big Guy is really feeling the cold this morning.  He is trying to find a blanket that he can wrap around himself.

Yesterday, Tonya and the Big Guy had pork chops for their lunch.  They saved the bones and then thru them outside, after the sun went down.  I think it's the Big Guy intention on feeding the fox and trying to get the fox to come around more often.

That way, when there are rats around the green bin, the fox will get the rats.

At least that is what he is hoping.

Let Mother Nature be the rat trap.

We are expecting a snow storm tonight and tomorrow morning.  But tomorrow morning, it will be changing to rain.  So the Big Guy plans to be outside before the snow changes to rain.  The Big Guy has been outside, snow blowing the snow while it is raining out.  The snow blower has a hard time blowing the snow when it's raining out.

It's a SNOW blower.  Not a SLUSH blower.

The Big Guy had made some molasses cookies the other day.  He posted it on Facebook and then later on, someone had commented, that they put butter on the underside of the cookie, before they eat it.  If they put it in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, I think the cookie will be moist and soft again.

17/Feb/20 can you see where X marks the spot in this picture

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

It's snowing again.  Not hard.  Just enough to make the snow fresh again.

Now, we are due for a bit of snow tomorrow and Wednesday.  Since those are the days that the Big Guy is off, it doesn't bother him that much.  It's when he has to go to work.  That means he has to deal with the snow before he goes to work, then he knows that the snow is building up all day long, while he is at work.

He will be retired before too long.  So that shouldn't be a problem after that.

Although with the snow falling, he can also see when the Fox and other animals have been around his back yard.  Since he doesn't have anything to give to the Fox, he feels bad for the Fox.

But they are having pork chops for lunch today.  So they will have bones for the Fox.

Just as long as they are not big bones that will mess up the Big Guy's snow blower.  Now that would piss him off.

Just like when they cook a prime rib roast.  There are several bones that are left over.  Well those bones have to go in the green bin.  Those bones will really mess up the snow blower.

Having said that, the snow blower does have shear pins.  This is to protect the snow blower from ripping itself apart when something gets jammed in the auger.  But it is a bit of a chore to replace the pin.  So, it's good for the snow blower not to get damaged, but also a bit of an annoyance when the break off.  This is what the Big Guy calls: First World Problems.

16/Feb/20 you made me NEW dog treats

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Big Guy says that my new dog treats don't NEED to be cut like little dog bones.

OK, that is true.  He actually flattened out the dough, then took a pizza cutter and sliced up the dough, then baked my biscuits.

Pretty easy to make your own dog biscuits.

Since Aurora is getting baby food and she doesn't like everything that is bought for her, I get to benefit from it as they bring the unused portions to the Big Guy.  Then he just makes me a batch of dog biscuits.

I'm really not that fussy when it comes to treats.  I like them all.

Honestly, I would much rather eat what ever Tonya is having on her plate though.

But when I do that, sometimes my paws gets itchy.  That means that I've eaten something that I'm pretty much allergic to.

Tonya sees me licking my paws.

But she still gives me human food.

The Big Guy says, she is killing me slowly with her kindness.

If it were up to him, I would be on a kibble and water diet.

BORING!
