19/Nov/19 did I tell you lately that I love you

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So, I often will speak about how the Big Guy mistreats me and will often cook something that I'm not allowed to have.

There is the moments that you don't see.

When he puts me outside that I can satisfy my curiosity.  I really don't need "to go".  I just want to be outside.  Then I want right back inside.  Then I remember, I really wanted to be outside.  Then forget about that and want back inside again.  He will accommodate me.

There are times, when he knows he has too much on his plate.  He will throw stuff towards my food dish, without Tonya seeing him do this.  I know he did it as I can smell him off the food he just tossed towards me.

He also takes me for walks and keeps me safe.  I know what cars are.  But they move fast when they are on the street.  Well, sometimes, I want to sniff something on the street.  The Big Guy will NOT allow my curiosity to get the better of me.

He will also take me to the Doggie Park.  Tonya has never done this on her own.  It's always the Big Guy that drives me there.

When it comes time to brush me, he will often hold my head while Tonya is trying to get the knots out of my fur.  I don't like this very much.  I've never bitten him, but he knows that I'm really upset and don't enjoy that experience.  But he does his very best to keep me from biting.  Even when my head is trashing and he knows, I just want to bite SOMETHING.  He tries to stay calm and control where my teeth go.

He is also the main source of all the toys that I own.  Tonya buys me some, but he has bought the most for me.

I think I will keep him.

18/Nov/19 please no pics of my bed head fur

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Big Guy is always taking pictures of me at the worst possible times.

Here, you can clearly see that it's very early morning and I've got "bed head".

So...  in the news...  Ford has finally launched their all new Ford Mach-E.  The Big Guy is obviously excited about this new car.  He knows that he wants to get an electric car.

It's sort of funny how many people are reluctant to change over from their gas powered cars.

It will be difficult for me to hear these cars on the road.  They don't make any noise when they are moving.  Oh well, it's the wave of the future and the future is NOW.

Gas powered cars will be something of the past.  Much like when these first horse-less carriages were introduced.  Many people thought they would never amount to anything.  At one point, scientists were very worried about what the automobile was going to decimate the insect population.  Due to it's top speed of 10 mph.  They had predicted that these vehicle were going to virtually wipe out all the insects.

Well, weren't they wrong.

The Big Guy goes out of his way to mash mosquitoes out of the air with his car.

So far, the mosquitoes are going very strong indeed.

Eventually there will be driver-less vehicles.  The Big Guy can't wait to call up for a "Johnny Cab".  If you don't know it, it's a "Total Recall" movie rip off.

17/Nov/19 damn, just got caught sniffing the counters

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Big Guy is what they call "light on his feet".  He really is a BIG guy.  By that, I mean heavy.  But he walks so softly on his feet.  He would make a great ninja.

He has surprised Tonya on more than one occasion.  He will come up behind her and she isn't aware that he is there.

Now, Tonya, she walks on the heels of her feet.  STOMP STOMP STOMP

She doesn't sneak at all.

The Big Guy had made fried pork chops for his supper last night.  Well the pork grease flew all over the place.  On the floor, on the stove, on the counter tops.  I could smell it.

Oh, if only I could have some.

But then I would be "shitting though the eye of a needle".  In other words, extreme diarrhea.

So the Big Guy has also been researching a new type of car.  It's called the Ford Mach-E.  Not run by gas, but by electricity.  He has also pretty much stated, his current car has to be paid off before he goes shopping for a new car.  Which is reasonable.  But that also means, I will likely never see it.

Bernese Mountain Dogs don't have a long life span.  At 3 1/2 years old, I'm already considered to be a 50 year old in human terms.

But they do feed me good food and they do take good care of me.  So I should be good for a LONG time.

16/Nov/19 yes the floor is wet, it's raining outside

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Well the Big Guy got a visit from Captain Obvious.  My paws were all wet from being outside.  It was raining quite hard and I really didn't want to go outside.  He FORCED me outside.  So yea, I went pee and then came right back to the door to be let inside.

Then the Big Guy found that his slippers were wet.  Well, yea, my paws were soaking wet from being OUTSIDE where you made me go.

It was snowing a little bit when the Big Guy got up.  It isn't now.  The snow is melting as soon as it touches the ground.

The Big Guy still hasn't swapped out the lawn tractor for the snow blower attachment.  I'm not sure what he is waiting for.  He is going to procrastinate himself to the point where he is going to be digging out the driveway by hand.

I got to watch the Big Guy yesterday, bring out that chicken soup with those egg noodles that pretty much exploded in his cast iron dutch oven.  So he put that outside and within 5 minutes...  the Sea Gulls had eaten it all.

Did you ever see the video of where Tonya was feeding the Sea Gulls pancakes?  I will put that in for today's video of the day.  Hmmm...  just searched for it.  It must have been something that was posted on Facebook and ever moved to a YouTube video.

Then, there was another time, the Big Guy is on the back deck and there was a Eagle in the neighbor's tree.  I'm sure the Eagle was looking for mice, rats, or something other to eat.  The never seen the Eagle again in that tree.
