21/May/19 I have natural eye brows

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

The dog that used to live here, he was a different color than me.  The Big Guy had seen this picture on Facebook and thought it would be funny to draw eyebrows on him.

This was the picture he seen.

The Big Guy went though his videos and what not and he can't find the pictures of what he had done to Sebastian.  You can take my word for it.  It was funny.

If Tonya finds the picture, or the video, I'm sure the Big Guy will post it later on.

So it's foggy outside.

Which isn't strange for around these parts.

Fog will make everything wet.  Rain will also do that, but fog tends to make everything a lot colder than what it really is.

You would sit outside, under a roof of some sort, if it were raining outside.  But with fog.  Nope, that cold would sink right into your bones.

Yup, glad that I live inside where the fog isn't.  The furnace is on.  I'm dry and warm.

20/May/19 were you really trying to sneak up on me

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Were in for some rain for the next few days.

Of course the Big Guy is smiling about that as he doesn't have to shovel the rain.  If he did, wow, that would be a lot of rain.

The Big Guy is making some boiled eggs for Tonya for breakfast.  That means I will be able to bug and bug until she gives me some.  I'm allowed to have eggs.  Just as long as she doesn't put onions in it.

Yesterday, I went upstairs and had a look around.

The Big Guy still hasn't put the door casings back in place.  He had to take them off in order to get the dryer out of the cubby hole where it was at, on top of the washer.

Well that job is done.  He needs to get this done.

Also, he needs to make a small door and also needs to put the shelves back in place.

Chop chop.

Lets get on this.

19/May/19 is the weather going to warm up soon

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

So my humans like it when it's warm outside.  They like to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sun.

This year, it seems to be slow to warm up.  Now, they say that Global Warming is melting the glaciers and that it's getting to be warmer than ever on planet Earth.

But in this area, not so much.

We are forecasted to get rain for the next few days.  Which is fine by the Big Guy.  He doesn't mind the rain.  Just the cold.  That really bothers him.

He finally had some BBQed burgers on the charcoal grill last week.  But he would rather have had the grill up by the back door.  Instead, he just opened the garage door, and hid inside the garage.  Now the BBQ was outside, but he stayed inside where there wasn't any wind.

The Big Guy has been eyeballing the front yard.  He needs to make a decision on if he is going to get some new grass seed, of if the rain we are getting is going to be enough.

So far, the rain is looking pretty good.

Tonya was saying that I've got to make an appointment with the groomers.  That is normally a little fun.  They cut my nails and trim the fur between my toes.  BUT since the weather hasn't turned warm just yet, I haven't been shedding my Winter Fur just yet.

So I hope she doesn't plan to get me to the groomers until it warms up a bit more.

Then I would be cold too...  just like the Big Guy.

18/May/19 I've got to remember, the shoe is NOT a toy

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

I'm just laying there.  

Eyeballing that shoe.

I could just reach out a bit.

That shoe would be mine.

Since last night, I've just laid there.

Looking at this shoe.

Well, all the shoes, who am I kidding.

My humans have never hit me for destroying their shoes.

I just need to chew.

I have nervous energy.

My teeth are powerful and designed to rip meat off of bones.

My self control is amazing, now that I'm older.

My name is Max and I chew on shoes.  

It's been one day since I've had a shoe in my mouth.

Lets see if I can make it two days.

Gasp... I'm feeling weak...
