Good morning Cape Breton.

The Big Guy read that some one said that Dogs can't look up. So what I am doing? He wishes that he could find that article again and see what it said.
Tonya asked the Big Guy to turn the heat up in the house this morning. Not that it was frightfully cold, but it was damp in the house. Since the Big Guy doesn't really like being cold, he didn't mind turning up the heat a bit.
We went for our walk last night. Yesterday morning it was raining out. So no walk. But it was still raining a bit last night when we went for our walk.
When we got home, I only wanted to be with Tonya. She wanted to be left alone. So that made me want to be with her MORE. She wanted that even less. She tried to cuddle with the Big Guy, but he had his knee up on a pillow. So that didn't work for her. Then I would loose my bones under the chair, or the couch. She would get upset as she would have to get them for me. If I could use a stick, I would get my own bones. Perhaps the BIG bone should be taken off the deck so that I could have it as my indoor bone again. I've had that since I've been a puppy. If she went to Bonnars and bought me a bag of bones, I would leave her alone. $10.00 gets you a lot of piece of mind.
Tonya made some chilli for supper. I didn't get to have any. I never get chilli. I wonder what it tastes like? I guess I will never know. She makes it in this big cast iron pot.
I got kibble again for supper.
Bye bye for now.
Good morning Cape Breton.

I still got my big paws. When we are out walking, These paws give me a lot of traction. The Big Guy sometimes struggles when walking me. Although I think today, he's putting that collar back on me. I'm jumping again when we start our walks. He doesn't like me jumping and biting at my leash.
The Big Guy was telling me, there is a group of people that work in Florida and they had to be evacuated. They still haven't gone back to work yet. He said that they may only get back to work, tomorrow. He doesn't mind helping the callers, but he said that he doesn't have any training with the product they are looking for help with.
We went for a walk yesterday morning. It was raining during our walk. The Big Guy wore his rain coat and Tonya brought an umbrella. Well I've never seen an umbrella before. I needed to sniff it and get a better look. So that meant jumping up for a look. She wasn't too happy with me. Thankfully it wasn't raining hard. But after we got home, the skies opened up. That is when we had a real down pour. I'm glad we went when we did.
I'm pretty sure, it would have been around this time, that the Big Guy was contacted by Canadian Tire to test a few new products. I wonder if he is going to be contacted again? He would love to be selected for a new propane BBQ. But he also wonders if he would keep it in the garage with his charcoal grill. This would mean more room on the deck. Oh well, he's pretty happy with his charcoal grill for now. I bet he is going to use it all this winter. Tonya says that it makes the BEST steaks ever!
Bye bye for now.

I was sleeping. Then the Big Guy got up and put his slippers on. Then it shuffle scuff, shuffle scuff, shuffle scuff, as he walks around. Who can sleep though that noise?
I was talking with the Big Guy and he is hoping to get different slippers for XMas this year. He had them in the past, but he always wears them out. Even if he gets 2 pairs, he still walks right through them before the year is out. They look like lamb skin and used to cost $10.00 at Wal-Mart. So Santa, if your listening, get the Big Guy 3 pairs of these slippers for XMas this year.
Hurricane Irma isn't done hitting Florida. Now the hurricane is going to be moving on to Georgia and South Carolina. They are going to get a LOT of rain. I wonder if those doggies have rain boots and rain coats? I am pretty sure that I would NOT enjoy wearing rain boots.
Yesterday we walked up to the Boys house. I had a big drink of water. I had two poops. Tonya and the Big Guy have learned to carry a second poop bag with them.
We sat out front for a bit yesterday. But Tonya was saying, when they put out the Halloween decorations, I will not be out front again. I will probably get tangled up in the guide wires that they use for the blow up decorations.
The Big Guy didn't do any special cooking videos this week. I think his subscribers are going to think he is slacking. But he has something in mind. I wonder what that is? Oh well, he will share when he feels like it.
Bye bye for now.

The Big Guy did end up taking the roofs off the two gazebos that he has on the back deck. After he was done that, he ended up taking me for a walk.
Normally, after the Big Guy would have done some yard work, he would have done nothing else for the rest of the day. So with him loosing weight, he is being more active.
I'm not sure why, but after I had my poop, while we were walking, he collected it in a bag and then took it home with us. I wonder what is so special about my poop that they keep taking it home with them? I've seen other doggie poo on the ground when were out walking. I wonder if they should collect that poo as well. Doesn't their owners think that their poo is worth collecting?
We had a power outage for about 3 hours last night. The Big Guy was trying to see why the power was out, but couldn't find anything on the Nova Scotia Power site. But there certainly are a lot of other people out there without power this morning.
It's supposed to rain today. I don't like it much when it rains. That means we stay inside. I like sunny weather when we go sit outside.
There is a lot of people that are in Florida and they are all thinking that they are going to just hunker down and wait for Hurricane Irma to pass. Which is fine. But afterwards. They will NOT have electricity. They will NOT have running water. They will NOT have sewage. They will NOT have a grocery store to go shopping. Life is going to be miserable for them for a bit.
Bye bye for now.
