15/Jun/17 who's a happy dog

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

You just don't know how happy I get when I see my humans.  I love them a lot.  They may yell at me for stuff that I do, but I am still a puppy with puppy energy.

The humans were complaining about how cold it was yesterday.  They can be funny watching them get dressed up before they go outside.  If they could only have kept their fur on their body.  I hear that scientists call them the "Naked Ape".

There is a frost warning in our area.  You should see the car.  It is covered in frost.

Tonya is up early today.  This is not normal for her.  Normally she is up an hour later.  Right now, she is cooking breakfast.  I wonder if I beg enough, that she will feed me her breakfast.  Or at least part of it.

Did you see what the Big Guy is up to now?  He is trying to get people to help him with feeding me a steak.  He can be weird that way.

The Big Guy is pretty excited today.  It's the 15th of the month and that normally means that he gets a new game for his XBox.  He gets a couple games each month with his XBox membership.  He doesn't "game" a lot, but he does have certain games that he does play.

I didn't bite at my leash as much as I used to yesterday.  The Big Guy keeps trying to teach me NOT to do that.  Normally by the end of the driveway, I give up and start smelling stuff.  Like the grass, or a paper coffee cup that someone threw out their window.  Stuff gets my attention.

Bye bye for now.

14/Jun/17 are you looking at me

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday the Big Guy was out front with his hatchet and was trying to get up a few roots that was in the front yard.  I got in the way a bit, so he went to a different area and was chopping away at this other tree stump.  Well I went back and decided that I would continue to pull at the roots for him.

I almost didn't go for a walk yesterday.  Tonya said that she read on Facebook, that it can be painful for dogs to be walked on the HOT pavement and sidewalks.  I don't wear booties.  So that means that my paws are feeling everything that I walk on.  I love walking in the grass.  It is so soft on my paws.

Last night, it was Tonya and the Big Guy's 2nd wedding anniversary.  They had a bottle of wine and some spaghetti.  Do you think they would share?  NOPE!  I got kibble and water.  What a drag.

Did you see what the Big Guy is putting out there for his replacement BBQ?  For every $10.00 donation, he will BBQ me 1 steak.  I LOVE STEAK!  Did you want to see his Go Fund Me account?  Click HERE

Bye bye for now

13/Jun/17 Happy 2nd Anniversay

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Yesterday I've been with my humans for a year.  But today, my two humans that I live with, well, they have been married for 2 years.

Normally people on their anniversary would go out to a restaurant to celebrate.  They will probably stay home and cook something for themselves.

But they have also been TOGETHER for 23 and a 1/2 years.

Yesterday we went for a walk, all the way downtown.  The Big Guy would NOT have attempted that long of a walk last year.  So his knee is getting better and stronger.  Last year, his back would have been so sore after walking less than a block.  I am so glad that he's loosing weight.

We got news that my non-furry sister, Linda, got a job.  She is working at the IGA in Windsor Park in WInnipeg.  She works in the bakery.  I am drooling, thinking of all the good things she will be baking.

It was kinda funny, a week ago, the Big Guy was wearing the jacket he would normally wear while snow blowing the driveway as we sat outside on the front deck.  Last night, he was outside in just a t-shirt.  If Global Warming is a thing, then shouldn't' it be a lot hotter outside?

Here is another video is me enjoying my pool.

Fun times eh?

Bye bye for now.

12/Jun/17 it's been one year

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

I've been living at this house for one year now.  I was the last puppy from my litter to be adopted.

How many things have changed?  I don't pee or poop inside the house any longer.  They don't use puppy pads any longer.  Then again, I used to eat them come in the end.  So they just stopped using them and paid attention to me.

I use the entire kennel.  Before, there was a divider, well, they use the divider to keep me in the back seat of the car.

I used to weigh about 25 pounds.  Now I am 102 pounds.

Before, I had my baby fur.  Now I have my adult fur.  My adult fur is longer and I have curls now.

I've lost all my baby teeth and now have my shiny white adult teeth.

I've grown out of about 4 harnesses and just as many collars.

I have met literally thousands of humans.  What is the most common thing they say...  that I have big feet.  Now they are saying that I have a big head too.

Yes, a lot of things have changed.

Yesterday they put my kiddy pool up on the deck.  I haven't been in the pool since last year.

Did you enjoy that video?

Share my video with your friends so that they can laugh at my antics.

Bye bye for now.
